This campground was good because of it's location to the sites we wanted to see (Ark and Creation museums) but as far as a facility it was only mediocre. We were there 6 days and during the time the men's bathroom was not cleaned. The latch on the bathroom stall was broken. The cigarette container outside the bathrooms was full and never emptied. The pet area trash containers were full and not emptied. We had a full hook up pull through site that would have been a challenge to level if we didn't... Read More

The septic was at the very front end of the site so the septic hose needed to be a very long run. Lastly if you are a light sleeper this may not be the best campground. There is an active railroad about 75 yards east of the campground and I-75 a couple hundred yards to the west.

Horrible place to stay. Impossible to level the RV or camper unless you bring with you some huge blocks. Once you level it you will need a 3’ step ladder to be able to get into your RV. The sewer hookup is very far away from other hookups at each site and you may need one or two extra hoses to hook up your RV. Looks pretty in photos but very badly designed sites.
We were in to visit the Ark and the creation museum and we were supposed to stay at the Northern Kentucky RV park for 3 days. After arriving we had mechanical issues with our tow vehicle and needed an extended stay option. We approached the management of the park and explained our situation and they were all too happy to accommodate our need to stay until our parts arrived. We were in a difficult position and Northern Kentucky RV Park showed sincere concern and let us stay for an additional 4 days.... Read More

The sites were well maintained and the playground was just what the children needed to allow the tired parents to unwind. We highly recommend staying here with your family on your way through this area!
The only reason we gave 4 star on appeal is because there is a train track right next to the park with frequent trains.

The most horrible place to stay!!Their advertising is totally DECEIVING!!! Definately not a family campground. All RV year round living campers and, they were not friendly. I was told by one not to allow my kids to bike that "they didn't care for children here". My site was "coffin sized". We literally "fell" out of our campsite when we got out of the camper. The traffic was deafening and the TRAIN was like having an earthquake go off next to your camper in the middle of the night!!!! WE WILL... Read More

I'd rather camp at a Walmart than this campground. I wouild have left but the owner manager will not refund your money at ALL! I o went to go to the Creation Museaum and Ark Encounter but ended up leaving like a Zombie from sleep deprivation. Totally ruined our Trip!! Shame, single mom and won't have money to plan trip. return. Oh, and thanks a lot for charging my card for an extra day because we were a little late checking out. Never mind half the campground was already empty by then. Guess they are desperate for money. Find a truck stop or a Walmart if you cant find a campsite for a trip anything would be better than staying here.

Terrible! Located in between the interstate and dual RR tracks. The tracks were 50 yards from the campsite. We didn't just hear trains every hour including horns for the nearby crossing, we felt them it was so close. When there was not train noise the trucks on the highway filled in. Nice people and hook ups, but don't bother.
The restrooms/showers were closed because of Covid. I don't live in KY so I don't know if they have a "restroom closure" order or not. But other places we visited had restrooms open. The pool was closed but the condition of it was so bad it was a blessing. I saw some reviews about the train and suggestions. There are no workable suggestions. We had ear plugs and the air on and it still sounded like it was coming through the campground blowing the horn all night. The pond is filthy and the "paddle... Read More

I think a lot of their customers are visiting the ark and creation museum. There's no other place close enough to camp so they have no competition. This is the worst campground I have ever been to. Bring a sound machine!!

Easy access. Nice gravel sites. Oh my the trains! Didn't hear any until around 10 at night. Then several times in the night getting more frequent from about 5:30 am on. Whistle, train and brake squeal. So close! Had AC on, but between traffic noise and trains, this certainly can't be considered "peaceful country camping!" Truck and hwy noise is constant too. Staff very friendly. We got in after office closed, had called earlier, so map was ready for pick up. Went to site, had a truck parked... Read More

Truck and hwy noise is constant too. Staff very friendly. We got in after office closed, had called earlier, so map was ready for pick up. Went to site, had a truck parked in it. Called office, never got a response. Ended up going door to door until found the visitor. Slightly awkward, but the other campers were nice enough. Just a funny start to our adventure. The trains were not funny. Should have looked at map to see camp is sandwiched between 75 and train line.

The staff was very friendly. When we arrived their was no picnic table or fire ring, but they brought them to us right away. They are u see going some renovations, which are badly needed. The other reviews were correct about the traffic and the trains. The first day we heard a total of 7 trains, literally across the road. The latest one we heard at night was around 10pm. Our back-in spot was not level and it took awhile and a lot of blocks to get it level.
Great place to stay- new owners are great
Everyone was VERY helpful. That noise of the train didn't bother us because our tv and air. We loved staying there and will recommend the campground and will go back!!
Great little park nestled in the trees with a fishing lake/pond! I work while full timing and need Wifi... Northern KY RV park had the best i've seen in months, which was surprising for it's location but it's true! I even had great 5G. they are upgrading the park and sites with new electric and the staff are Soooo friendly! This is a "remember to stop by again" type of Park!
