We so loved staying here. Super quiet campground. Pam and Brian were awesome and very helpful. Our site (#5) was pretty much level before extending our jacks, considering the sites are gravel. We had a back in site and our 39ft motorhome fit in with no issues and we had room to park our Jeep Grand Cherokee in front of coach. (Just make sure to back up all the way to the hill). No issues with hookups. The pool was nice and heated to 80 degrees! Very clean grounds and the grass was nice and short.... Read More

The friendliest staff/owners ever!
An excellent park. Reservation staff checked with us several times to let us know we had a space reserved, then to let us know that our arrival after hours (yeah, we always seem to run behind schedule!) was no problem. Our paperwork and site assignment was in an envelope exactly where we were told it would be. The hosts even put a couple of chocolate chip cookies in the envelope! Great park- very clean, level and loved the crushed gravel. Laundry facilities were sparkling! Hosts were very friendly.
The facility is clean and very well manicured & maintained, our site had prairie grass of sorts & was in need of watering they do have sites of rock & gravel too. Arriving broke down with a reservation to 3 days & 4 nights as a home base, to see the Devils Tower and explore the area. Our stay ended up being 6 nights and 5 days. Arriving broke down with a reservation to 3 days & 4 nights as a home base, to see the Devils Tower and explore the area. Our stay ended up being 6 nights and 5 days. Management recommended a very good local mechanic in their small town & accepted a emergency package of insulin from the VA notifying us when it arrived. The management was so very friendly and helpful making us feel welcome and cared for graciously extending our stay. There isn't much in Sundance to see except the AMAZING local museum. The area offers a lot of history and sights to see . We HIGHLY recommend this facility and the wonderful people who own it!

Spent a week at this wonderful campground! Extremely clean inside and out - laundry facilities, bath/shower rooms and pool all updated and absolutely immaculate! Very quiet place and very friendly staff. Though we didn't purchase anything from the store, it was well-stocked with the basic needs plus some cute extras should you need to add to your camping experience. Also had a snack shop with breakfast items and other treats. Had music playing that was awesome (60's & 70's) - just loud enough to... Read More

Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the Sundance/Devil's Tower area.

We spent 10 nights at this location and it was great. The staff was absolutely helpful and very professional. The park was well kept at all times. The bathroom and showers were in excellent condition and kept extremely clean at all times. We had a pull-through site and had plenty of room all around. The WiFi was extremely efficient along with the cable TV. Highly recommend this RV park if you’re in the area. Easy on off I-90 and not far at all from Mount Rushmore!
We only stayed for one night but the place was immaculate. Bathrooms were spa light. Very friendly and helpful.
Service with a smile. The Park called mid-morning on our arrival date to verify our approximate arrival time so that they could have fresh cookies waiting. Cookies were waiting. The park is setup to make things easy for campers of all sizes. Clean, well kept. Convenient trash cans.
As "newbies" we were learning. Before we ever got there, the owners were helpful and offered suggestions that proved to be so beneficial. The facilities are impeccably cared for. Their full hook-up, pull through sites were exactly what we needed. Great wi-fi, cable, propane, laundry, recreation room, clean bathrooms and showers....everything showed their attention to detail, in order to meet all our needs. I've stayed in dozens of campgrounds across the country and can honestly say this has been the all around best campground. The owners are lovely and clearly dedicated to making Mountain View the best it can be. Everything is beautifully clean, nice pool, pool table, ping pong, little gym, great laundry, great WiFi and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have gone above and beyond to make my stay a great one and I look forward to coming again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I highly recommend this campground in the small town of Sundance, Wyoming. The location is great with a beautiful view of the valley. The owners were wonderful hosts. The campground, restrooms, etc. were immaculate and the pool was great!
We were caught in an early season snowstorm and found Mountain View RV. The owners were very pleasant & super accommodating for our extended stay. The restrooms were exceptionally clean! We will stay here again if we happen through this area!
To anyone who is looking for a great RV Park in the NE Wyoming/NW South Dakota area this is the place to stay. Just picture a park with good size sites, very pleasant owners and staff overlooking a beautiful valley. Close to the tourist attractions like Mt. The campground owners are some of the most customer friendly campground ownwers we've met in our 4 years of RV'ing. They make you feel right at home and check you in with the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. They take great pride in maintaining their campground and it shows! All the sites are very clean and well groomed. All of the facilities are fantastic. And we loved the location - close to Deadwood, Spearfish, Sturgis. We will be back! Thanks!
An awesome RV campground with great staff. Level, pull through, full hookup site, with wifi & cable . Nice swimming pool. Campground quiet, clean and well maintained by all the friendly staff!!!
After traveling for 8 hours and arriving at our State Park reserved campsite only to find the site too small and too sloped for our rig, we called Mountain View RV Park & Campground hoping to find an available site. Exceptionally clean grounds and facility. Very accommodating with reservations and friendly staff. I highly recommend this campground.
The staff is super awesome and beyond helpful! The resort was very quiet and easily accessible from the interstate. The pool was out of service for emergency repairs in mid June, 2019. Wish we could have enjoyed, but even so, our stay was a 10+! Lot spaces were generous, but to get to most, toad had to be dropped. Loved our stay and would return if in the area.
This RV park would be 10 star rating if it could go that high! The folks that own it are super nice, so accommodating ,their property is just so beautiful and clean. From the sparkling blue outdoor pool (heated perfectly) to the super cleanliness of the laundry room and game room and bathrooms this place is a for sure to stay at. Pet friendly too! I dare you to find anything that needs attention here as these owners have made it a perfect stay.

Been on the road for almost two months. Have camped in 10 states at numerous rv campsites. Mountainview RV in Sundance Wy. Is probably one of the best places we have stayed , maybe THE best. Nice neat sites with plenty of room. Very well maintained. Clean facilities, great laundry. The owners are always out and about working hard. Nice folks. Fresh baked goods available for sale to guests at reasonable cost. Very fair rate. Great place
Lovely park, Easy on/off from expressway but QUIET! I know the write-up said the park was quiet, but it truly was. A surprise because you really are right off I-90. Well maintained. Nice pool. Clean laundry area. Small store. People were wonderful. Close to Devil's Tower. And be sure not to miss the Vore Buffalo Jump. Small... out in the middle of nowhere... but very interesting. We would definitely stop here again.
Didn't check out the restrooms. Staff very friendly. Not much to the town or grocery store. Snowed while we there.
Beautiful park, the owners are very accommodating Ind in formed of the area. Excellent location in the black hills area. The facilities are the best , very clean, updated , and extremely well maintained. It's not unusual to see deer out your window! I've been RV living across the country for 14 years.....this place is first class.
Stayed 1 night after visiting Devils Tower on our National Park and Monument vacation. Nice quiet little place to relax. People were very friendly.
We enjoyed our off season stay at this park, friendly staff, quiet (from enough from highway), large gravel sites, well kept. Centrally located to all local attractions. Beautiful Wyoming sunrise. Easy to walk pets, we stayed closed to bathhouse which was very clean and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
This is one of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed in. We were made to feel at home. We had a short but wonderful stay. We will definitely be back. Already telling all our RV buddies about it. Has all the amenities.
Exceptionally clean! The staff was very helpful! The cookies were yummy :)
This is a park in Sundance, WY, right on I-90. It has gravel driveways and site pads. We had a pull-thru with 50amp electric, water, sewer and a picnic table. There are a few small trees, but our site had none. There is a pool but we didn't use it. The WiFi was adequate for email and some web browsing. The bathrooms are very nice and super clean. We really appreciate RV parks that provide nice and clean restrooms. We paid $43.74 per night.
Excellent place to stay in Sundance. 45 for a pull through 50 amp site, excellent WiFi and great cable ($2 more for cable). Supper clean and the staff was outstanding. Nice store with cool gifts and basic items. Coffee for $1, ice cream and also baked goods made fresh daily. Good layout for hookups. Grass area between sites and dog friendly. Walking the whole place with the dogs is 1/2 mile loops so it a big place but very nice. Clean laundry room, Rec area with a pool table and ping pong... Read More

No road or train noise. Quiet place

Before we arrived, they called to tell us that they had a bad hail storm last night and the pool was closed, but everything else was okay. We enjoyed our stay. They were friendly and the place was clean. We did laundry and the washers and driers were clean. They have cable TV service. It was okay. We did not have to us our antenna. We could not us the WiFi. Over all we were pleased with this park.
Home made chocolate chip cookies on arrival? Immaculately clean washrooms? Cool movable shower heads? Really fine folks? Sites in easy access to washrooms? You will find all this in one nice location. Virtually in the town of Sundance - Just off the interstate - with easy access to nearby grocery store. Allow short side trip to Devil's Tower. This means something....
Couldn't be happier with my choice to stay here. Bathrooms were spotless. Laundry was spotless. Grandkids loved the rec room. Convenient to devils tower, Spearfish, and Mt Rushmore. Several decent restaurants in town. Small store for essentials.

Nice park, close to Devils Tower. Great staff and best cleanest bathrooms of any park we have ever been to. Good Sam needs to upgrade the ratings on this park !
I must say that the staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. We recieved excellent information on the local area with times to go as well as what to see frist. The campsites were as advertised and well maintained. The restrooms and laundary room were execellent. It is very easy to inter and exit. They have propane on site for easy fill up. We diffintely recommend this and will use it again when in that area.
This is really a beautiful park in an arid and unforgiving area of Wyoming. It is clean, orderly and very well maintained with plantings and some flowers and grass coaxed out of the red dirt. The office was very interesting with a lot to look at as well as grocery and rv items offered. Again clean and efficient with what you might need. The park is terraced with pull-throughs on the upper level, back-ins below. The roads are wide and access easy. Water and electric are well placed, but for some reason the sewer hookup is in the rear of the site, almost to the road edge. We didn't hook to it, we'll use it as a dump when when get ready to go. Wi-Fi worked well after a bumpy start and cable was excellent with lots of channels.
The bathrooms were really sparkling clean that you could see. Because there was a big dome skylight in the ceiling, there was more light than you could have ever gotten from the usual fixtures. You'd know if it wasn't clean. Shower was good, hot water lasted. There is also a laundry that looks new and very comfortable. It is all obviously cleaned often.
The entire park is very attractive as is the surrounding area. It gives you a secure nights sleep whether in your rv or tent.
