Lots of long term campers here. The area where we stayed was mostly an open field but there was lots of grass and sites were roomy. Easy to get in and out of sites. Nice playground and game area. Great weather when we were there. I recommend this park.
Site was just grass spot in large field. Site was not level. Required more leveling blocks than I have ever had to use in any campground over nearly 6 years of travel all over U.S. and Canada. Then, never got within 2 degrees front to back and side to sided. Owners seem to have made little effort to level sites. Beware and carry LOTS of leveling blocks. Water, electric and sewer hookup okay. Hard to get to site. Must drive up steep narrow road (one lane traffic) to reach camping area. My... Read More

My pull through site was just a pull in with the ability to drive out across the grass to reach the road. Entrance to campground not well marked. Avoid depending upon GPS which may take you down a road difficult to navigate. Overall, not a good experience. Two stars on facility only because had no problem with Water, Sewer or Electric. I would not use this campground again.

We stayed at Horseshoe Acres for a week in October during fall foliage season. When we arrived, we were escorted to a nice pull through site with a lovely view of a colorful hillside. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also, while we were there we attended their Halloween party and felt welcomed by the other mostly seasonal campers. The campground served nicely as a base for leaf peeping and sight seeing in south central Vermont.
