We were very disappointed with this KOA for two reasons. First, it had narrow pull-thrus and curbs on each pull-thru making it next to impossible to avoid running over the curbs and scrapping the sidewalls of our tires. Our hook-ups were right in our neighbors narrow grass yard which made us feel like we were intruding into their space. Second, was the electrical utilities. We paid for 50 amp service as we have a 40 foot 5th wheel with 2 air conditioners. Our site had 50 amp service but it had... Read More

We paid for 50 amp service as we have a 40 foot 5th wheel with 2 air conditioners. Our site had 50 amp service but it had so low of voltage that our surge protector kept kicking out the electric to avoid damaging our appliances. We asked the manager to look at what was happening and he checked it out and told us there are too many RVs running their air conditioners which is causing a brown out in the park. He said they can't do anything about it. Very disturbing that an RV park would have such poor electrical service and what would happen if someone doesn't have a surge protector and the low voltage damaged an appliance? I asked for a refund and he agreed that we could get a full refund and move to another park if we wished. Which we did. I will say that the park was attractive and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we could never recommend this park, too challenging!
