I generally like this place. Great facilities and lots of activities. But there are a couple of things they need to work on. First is if you want TV you need to rent and hookup a cable box in your RV for any TV to work. They use good ol Comcast. What a pain. RVs have the cable run throughout so most are not setup to easily add a temporary box on the inside. Where ever you connect it you also need a power outlet nearby and the ability to dismount your TV to get the cable box inline from the outside... Read More

RVs have the cable run throughout so most are not setup to easily add a temporary box on the inside. Where ever you connect it you also need a power outlet nearby and the ability to dismount your TV to get the cable box inline from the outside line to your tv. Some people ran the cable through windows some the expected way. But all were disappointed one way or another. Then after that you need to program the Comcast remote to your TV. Oh that took forever. And you either only have one working or all the TVs need watch the same channel. And after all that and it's time to go when you then need to reverse these steps and return it to the office to get your deposit back where they make sure all 5 pieces are back otherwise you are on the hook for tidy deposit not coming back. Every other campground TV only requires you plug in the RV into the stand and done. I could not just disconnect and go home I had to walk to the office on the wettest day of the year to return the cable box. This place gives you endless reasons to formally checkout which is annoying. This is the chief one.
The second issue was the employees at the office did not seem to have any answer to any question beyond the standard check in process stuff. They got all these strange promotions with fine print keeping everyone confused. The website said 50% off and then last second before that weekend they almost deleted that whole sentence. When I asked about it they claimed ignorance.
The place is still better than most they just need to fix the cable box thing and train their employees better to keep up with the other things.

Have been to Beachcomber Campground 4 times since we got our trailer 2 years ago. This is the perfect place to stay with kids. There is so much for them to do at the campground as well as going into Wildwood. The office staff is very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I recently has 4 teens there, my husband and I only saw them when they left in the morning, when we checked on them and then when they got hungry. Once they were done swimming, showering and eating didn't see them again... Read More

I recently has 4 teens there, my husband and I only saw them when they left in the morning, when we checked on them and then when they got hungry. Once they were done swimming, showering and eating didn't see them again until it was quite time. They would come back to the trailer have a snack and pass out.
Thank you Beachcomber for a wonderful stay!!!!!!

It is a bit pricey but the place is large with endless amenities. We stayed there for free after winning a site decorating contest last October. The transient sites are long and wide. The narrow road clearance to get in the sites can be challenging. They have any type of camping option you can think of. Its about 70% seasonal sites. The staff is definitely active and ready to help you out. Security dropped off a flyer on my last night for 15% off if I added an additional night to my stay. The... Read More

The camp store is small for the campground size but they have most of what you would expect. The snack shack had good food in the morning and afternoon. The activities are clever and thought out well. Tug of war and falling in chocolate pudding was fun to watch. The playground and beach are a lot of fun for the kids and well lit at night. Definitely go to theme weekend they are usually worth it.

Had a great time here. Great location. Lots to do at campground. Loved the lake with the giant slide, the planned activities were good and friendly people. Would highly recommend.
