Sept 24th they were shutting things down due to colder weather in Tok. There was no water- But still had electric and the rv dump station open to use. The owner was very nice and provided info on where to fill up with water for the rv. Quiet and well maintained park. Spaces are close, but secluded with trees for privacy. Great park!

This a very nice campground in the woods. Sites are not crammed together so you feel like you're camping in the woods, not a typical RV campground. We had a nice meal in the cafe and had fun with the pancake toss. We had to make a repair to the trailer and stopped at the local Napa auto parts before reaching the campground. They didn't have the part we needed but said the owners of the Sourdough Campground often helped with minor repairs. What luck! The owners were a great help and had the... Read More

This is a nice RV park with a lot of trees a mile south of the junction of the Alaska Hwy and Richardson Hwy in Tok, AK. Very easy to find. We stayed only one night in early September, the end of the "tourist season"in Alaska. The staff was nice, but it seemed like they were anxious for the season to be over. The pull through sites were large enough to easily park a large 5th wheel trailer. There was very little traffic noise making this campground a very quiet place to sleep. The park was... Read More

The park was OK it's showing a bit of age and not quite as fantastic as the advertising made it appear, but I'd stay here again. $45 per night (with 10% discount) for water, sewer and 50 amp electric.

Nice park just south of the Alaska Highway on the Tok Cutoff. The park was in a nice wooded setting. The sites were nice and private but a little tight to get into and out of for bigger rigs. Bathrooms were basic but generally clean. We were two far from office to get their wifi. We did participate in the pancake toss one of the nights we were there glad we did. Overall it was a good place to stop when traveling the Alaska Highway.

We had booked for 2 nights. When we arrived mid afternoon, the young person on duty had no record of the reservation, but the park was not busy, so we were assigned a site, which had plenty of room for our rig, slide outs and towed car. Restrooms. In need of renovation and the showers in the gents were in very poor condition. Curtain rails left loose on top of dividers, for instance. WIFI. Despite advertising the park is covered by wifi, and been given the password, we had no wifi. When queried,... Read More

There is a sign on the office advertising a RV mechanic. I understand this to be the owner. We asked twice for his services, but he never turned up. There are lots of RV sites in Tok of a much higher standard.

We were in pull through full service, E 12. The water tap for site drinking water was approx. 6 to 12 in above the sewer outlet that was covered with a rock. How sanitary is this? Only two of the drive through sites had the sewer drains properly spaced. Garbage was picked daily but stored in plastic home style containers and once collected ended up on an older flat trailer a short distance from parking area in plastic bags. There were no signs of bears in the area but this was against recommendations... Read More

There were no signs of bears in the area but this was against recommendations for handling garbage in a bear area for safety of humans and animals. Floors and stairs in washrooms and laundry areas were in need of repair. Of the five washing machines and 5 dryers there were only three of each working.

Nice campground except for the run-down bathrooms

Definitely a fun place to stay. The pancake toss was really fun and gave you a chance to meet a lot of the other campers. The sites are large and private with lots of trees. We stayed for 2 days and will come back on our way home. The owners are very nice and do a great job in the little restaurant that is open to the public as well as their guests. Looking forward to coming back and winning a free breakfast at the pancake toss! Thanks again for a fun stay

stayed there only 1 night . Had a self contained camper and didn't use sewer , water or electric . Stayed there to do laundry and shower . The clothes dryer didn't work ( little heat ) and no hot water for showers . If I wanted to shower would have had to use cold water . When asked they told me I could go to another facility and pay $7 for a hot shower . They offered no rate reduction or compensation for not having hot water . Asked a second time about showers to give them a 2nd chance for a rate... Read More

Asked a second time about showers to give them a 2nd chance for a rate reduction or even maybe a complimentary breakfast but again was told where to go and pay to use a showers . I feel that they should have refunded to guest the cost that had to be paid somewhere else or at least a comp breakfast . Would not stay there again .

restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained, showers were included in price of campsite{ many in Alaska have pay showers as you use them] folks that operate it were friendly, it was quiet and peaceful there, enjoyed the pancake toss in the evening, it was a nice way to meet others and here of their adventures. I will stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 days this past month. Owners run the place and they are really great to deal with. Place is clean and quiet and each site is surrounded by trees for privacy. The restaurant food was great and the pancakes and reindeer sausage was everything we hoped it would be. We will be staying here again on our way back to the lower 48.

Stayed here on one of our many stops from South Carolina to Alaska. It was late in the season so the park was quiet. But still loved the nice private lots. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. My daughter had a blast at the pancake toss. Would love to go back during the summer and stay here again. Also a must try on their delicious menu is the reindeer chili.
