The park itself was just fine. The only problem we had was with the management, specifically the lack of management. We made our reservation well in advance, and paid for it. It was confirmed, and we got an email just before our trip about all the events they were having in September. When we arrived, on a Tuesday afternoon, there was a note on the door of the office saying they would be back Thursday. We called the emergency number and it rang in the empty office. There were signs up stating that all campers MUST register at the office before setting up. We waiting around for a while, and I emailed them, but nobody showed up, so finally we found a campsite and set up camp. I sent an email letting them know what we did and why, but from that day to this, I have not heard a word from them. That said, the campground was quiet, the bathrooms were adequate, and our one night stay was comfortable. During the summer there is a pool and water park, and most likely there would not be a problem staying during the high season.

This is an excellent camground with a nice, quiet location on the river. Rate was $45/nite. Lots of fun activities for the kids including recumbent trikes. Easy access. They offer $5 all you can eat biscuits & gravy or waffles with a drink for breakfast...so bring your own sausage. They have good wifi and there is a restaurant/bar at the park entrance for those needing a break from cooking. Highly recommende!
