Pay no attention to the reviews by bougie people. For the cost, this RV park is awesome. Family operated, clean, quiet, lots of shade, EX in/out and good power. RV parks stay alive with seasonal campers, so there are some here, they are the lifeblood of the business. As a FT RV'er, I stay in parks when I'm going to be in an area for an extended period of time, otherwise I boondock. This park was perfect. It's "dated" style is charming. A refreshing change to parks that are run like HOAs.
This is nothing more than a dated trailer park. A few spots for those staying a night or 2. Construction at entrance, which is a mud pit after rain. Sites are close and not very well marked. Trailer next to us and across from us, have not moved in years. Lots of trash around their sites. One car up on blocks. Avoid this campground. Staying at Wal-Mart parking lot would be better. How this got a Good Sam rating is beyond me.
Decided on this place from ad in good sams catalog. Should have done more research. I know they want you to think it is a campground for Rolling stock. You have heard of a mobile home park? Well this is an RV home park. It appears that most of the vehicles there are not moving anywhere else for quite a while. Few places are for overnighters or there for a few days. There are no walking paths, absolutely nothing except for a small pool. Bathrooms are outdated and marginally clean- RVs and... Read More

Not a comfortable place to be. Their add and ratings are not open- actually they are lies.

This place needs major updating! The sites are small and the bathrooms old. The shower was clean but small I kept hitting my arms on the sides. I'm only 5'3" and 120 lbs and I was cramped.
Nice quiet park with all the necessities. Nothing really wrong, just very unimpressed. Due to Covid 19 fears, the pool had never been opened and all playground equipment was in need of repair. Just seemed unkept, but functional. If you are just looking for a place to park your rig for a couple of nights, away from the city and highway noises, this is your place. If your looking for a resort, look elsewhere. Did not use their bath/shower so I can't comment
We stayed at Red Barn last year when we visited our daughter and were very happy and for that reason decided to stay again this year but how disappointed we were this time. We were crammed into a spot where we have no room to sit outside and couldn't even put an awning out. We were afraid we were not even going to be able to put our slide out. If they are going to try and put as many campers in as they are they should park them so they go in the way they are supposed to. And one doesn't take... Read More

We should have only been charged half price because that is all we got was half of a space.
We will defianatley not be coming back to this camp site next year on our way through Sioux Falls.

This was a very nice stop along the long road for us. Wonderful to find a clean and neat campground with level, pull-through sites. Restrooms were immaculate. Owners pleasant and friendly. No pool, but we just wanted a safe place to spend the night. We got that, and more.
We park our 40ft in the site #7 which might have been a pull through for a smaller rig. The park is small and very cute, lovely manager with her little dogs. I like how close the shopping was as we needed to restock: Costco, target, fuel stations etc all about 10-15 minutes away, while still giving the feeling of being "out of town". The dirt roads that run along side the park are not busy and great for walking our dog.
Only stayed here one night. Easy to get to from I29. Big rigs beware-we have a 35' MH with a dolly and it was difficult just to get into the park. The site we were directed to was very hard to find and we just did fit in, hanging out a little. The park is heavily treed. We had to share our picnic table with our neighbors who pulled in the opposite direction. Thankfully our nite neighbors were just wonderful people! The bathrooms were in an old house and were clean. There were many seasonal people there who directed us around. I would probably go to a bigger park next time.
