Where to begin... Highway noise is very loud. this campground might be the closest to Toronto but I Would drive a little longer to avoid this place. Communication from the front desk staff was insufficient. We set up the trailer on a site that can barely fit the camper and truck. So we did our best to level the camper and parked the truck beside the camper with a tire on their gravel/ dead grass. So we did our best to level the camper and parked the truck beside the camper with a tire on their gravel/ dead grass. Owner came around that night and told us we had to move the truck or camper so that both fit on the pull through site. So we had to reconnect our trailer and move it. Needless to say my camper was just barely on the site in the back and truck just barely fit in the front. All this could have been avoided if the front office staff informed us of this in the very beginning. WiFi was not good at the site. It kept kicking us off. Power supply was once again insufficient. My surge protector kept restarting because of low voltage. Although they have a pool, the water was filthy with dead bugs. Looked it had not been cleaned in quite some time. 2 Dumpsters were overflowing with garbage. We would not recommend staying here nor would we stay here again in the future.

There have been some major upgrades since the last reviewer stayed at this facility. The staff was polite and helpful. WIFI was the best we have had. Kids and parents able to stream video with no problem. The pool was OK and not a lot of amenities for little kids. We stayed 3 night and found it easy to drive into Toronto from here. Traffic can be difficult if you travel at the wrong time.
We arrived during a small shower and with the gravel pit just down the road to the west our coach was covered with mud. If there is rain, it would be best to come in from the east. During the night our electricity voltage was fluctuating so badly our surge protector was turning the power off and then back on rapidly. I checked with our neighbor and he was having the same problem with surges to 150 volts. Hopefully this gets repaired. If the electricity had not been a problem, this woujd be... Read More

Washrooms and laundry facilities are top notch. Needs much better wi-fi for the price they charge and sites are too small for today's bigger units. We are very well treated and they are open 12 months a year. We will return.
