Do not expect much. The free wifi does not work most of the time. The cable does not work most of the time. The guests are questionable to say the least. There are no "boundries" for them. They will just arrive at your site and "stay a while" wanted or not. There is no security and no privacy. You will find some trailers that are very dilapidated and the sites junky and dirty. There is no landscaping just dirt and gravel, the roads are filled with potholes and I was advised not to complain about... Read More

He is not interested in his guests at all. The front office staff is ok when they are there. There were unemployed guests, possible criminals, drugs and plenty of booze. Most of the laundry equipment was out of order but the bathouses were nice and clean. Pool was covered the area looked nice. We didn't stay long enough to find out. Did not feel safe. My advise is to look further.

I can't believe Good Sam rates this campground so highly. It makes me question all other Good Sam ratings. This campground advertises on its website and on the information folder you get when you check in and on a sign going into the park that it has WiFi and cable. It lists all the cable channels on the folder. It didn't have either during my entire five-day stay. A young man at the front counter told me in person and a woman on a follow-up phone call said they didn't have any more cable boxes... Read More

A young man at the front counter told me in person and a woman on a follow-up phone call said they didn't have any more cable boxes and that a recent storm knocked out the WiFi. But there not been any major storms in the area shortly before our visit, and then I saw on earlier reviews that other campers were told something similar. When I asked the young man a couple of days later, when both issues still had not been resolved, about a refund of a portion of my five-day stay, he said both WiFi and cable were "amenities" and the campground didn't have to provide them. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said the owner was his father and that he would tell me the same thing. He was sullen and not apologetic at all. I would NOT stay here again and want to warn everyone else.

Peaceful and pretty. Nice level site and plenty of trees around. When we arrived, the fire pit was left had melted plastic bottles and empty soft drink cups in it. This was why it is not a "5 star" rating. It is a family friendly park - lots of happy campers! The trash was collected on site in the morning.
We stayed over the holiday weekend. The site was full, but we called ahead to reserve a spot. While booking, we were advised of FREE amenities; cable, wifi, sewer, electric and level surfaces. Those are all major selling points for my family. Upon arrival, the computer system was down, but owner knew we were coming so no problem. No wifi available ( I work from my rv), no cable box, and I have the last lot available.( not level). Was told to come in the morning to pay for next night and to get... Read More

No wifi available ( I work from my rv), no cable box, and I have the last lot available.( not level). Was told to come in the morning to pay for next night and to get a cable box for next day. Well, we endured that night because of fatigue. Next day, we get a cable box. Does not work! Wifi does not work.
Upon check out, we turn in the cable box and express our concerns and dislikes to the owner who responds with poor customer service. Such an unprofessional attitude. Could have been a repeat customer if she had embraced my concerns tactfully without attitude.
They do have site fire rings, picnic tables, a pool and a clubhouse, but since it rained the whole time we were there, we were inside most of the time without cable and wifi. So, the other FREE amenities were not beneficial to me. So, in all fairness, I cannot rate those. But, I can rate the above. You get a 1!

We stayed on site 118 in May 2017. Great facility but services left a lot to be desired. WIFI was almost not existent. Cable TV on our site was not available as advertised. Level site and long enough for tow vehicle behind our Class A motorhome. Restrooms were fine. Swimming pool looked great! Looked like some serious rain had occurred prior to our arrival on May 26th, 2017.
We had a wonderful stay here. The restrooms and showers were always clean. Nights were quiet and peaceful and so close to everything. Great pool. Only drawback is don't bother using the laundry facilities. Washers were fine. Dryers were awful. Cost me $5 to dry one load to dampness. Still had to hang them out. The dryers blow cold air. That's it. Overall I highly recommend.
Great RV park. Very helpful staff. Paved roads and Level sites. Pool and other facility are clean and well kept. Convenient to the Lookout mountain and Battlefield National Park. Right off the interstate so some noise was expected.
Very pleasantly surprised. All construction was complete. I had read the reviews about dust and equipment working. None of that. Very clean. All new hot mix asphalt roads. Sites are all very clean, level and new. Quiet. Very nice facilities. People in the office were great. Did not use bathrooms, but they look good from the outside. Beautiful pool. Convenient to lookout mountain, our first trip there. We will stay here in the future.
I have read numerous negative reviews about this campground. We never stayed here before, but I can say that most of the negative issues in previous reviews have been resolved. The new owners have spent a lot of money renovating the facility. Roads are freshly paved, campsites are level and have fresh rock, the pool is in excellent condition and the bathrooms are clean and in good shape. The only negative comment I have is the noise from the nearby highway. Cudos to the new owners for a job well... Read More

good for over night. steep hills i75 is loud in back of park. nice pool, they were remodeling march of 16 it will be nice when done.
I wanted to post a review because I was very mislead when I read the reviews on this campground and the information the website provided. When we arrived we had already paid for a "half cord" of wood. Their "half cord" of wood is a small bundle of wood. A real half cord of wood is considerably larger then this. We arrived at our campsite to realize the interstate is literally right there. We could not hear each other talk because of the road noise. We set up anyway because they only had 5... Read More

We arrived at our campsite to realize the interstate is literally right there. We could not hear each other talk because of the road noise. We set up anyway because they only had 5 sites available. I was thinking something must be going on in Chattanooga but found out later Friday night all these people either live there or are on long term leases because of working in the area. Sleeping might be better in the summer with the air running because it makes more noise than the heater does. They are adding new sites around the pool area and that is down hill from the interstate so the sound was not as bad there. The 4 acre dog park they have listed on the website is not fenced in. I was scared to let the dogs off their leash because of the close proximately to the interstate. If you are passing by the area and need to stay for one night by all means do. It is very well lite and we did not have any problems. But, if you are just going for a weekend trip, either stay down close to the entrance or expect a lot of road noise. We did not go into the restroom area so I didn't comment on that. The playground for the children was very nice. They are doing a lot of updates so it will be very nice in appearance when they are finished.

Easy-off, easy-on to I-75, but the noise was extremely loud, as the campground is adjacent to the interstate. Campsite was level, hook-ups easy. Only stayed overnight, so did not use any of the amenities.
We came in and were lead to the "owners site" by the time we were leveled the drivers tandem's were two inches off the ground. Our 15 foot sewer hose was three foot short. No internet in the woods, well there was one bar. Wash outs in the roads, lots of trees to go around. We were going to stay several nights and see the sites, but thought we better move on before our fifth wheel rolled down the hill. For the price, and set up's there I won't go back.
