Stayed a couple of nights in space #135 in 35' Class A with toad. Back in spaces are fairly tight. Hook-ups may not be conveniently located for your rig. Have a couple of sewer hoses. Stayed here to visit some sites in San Francisco. Huge tip: Pay the fee to lock in your space. For the price you are paying you might as well have an amazing view of the ocean during your stay. #135 has an unobstructed view of the ocean off the cliff. We noticed some of the rows of spaces were very tight and... Read More

Just Ok for a one night visit but it was the most expensive ($199.50 for one night) and our lowest rated park of our 15 day drip. There was one RV that was burnt out inside and had tags out of date by a couple years. so I assume it wasn't going anywhere fast. Showers were ok but I'm not picky. View of the Ocean was nice but beach was dirty and smelly. Area overlooking beach had old sewer pipes and other utilities sticking out of the hillside where a whole row of RV spots fell onto the beach by what... Read More

I would NOT stay there again, just way to expensive. We stopped each night and prices where from $29.55 - $199.50 at the RV parks we used.

This location is perfect if you need a place to rest for the night and prefer to stay inside your RV. The location is a paved parking lot with beautiful views of the ocean from the cliffs (there is no direct access to the beach). The sites are very narrow (we were only able to open up the slides on one side of the RV) and there is no room to set up chairs/table in your RV spot. The site is kept clean and is within walking distance (500 yards) to a grocery store (Safeway) and several places to eat.... Read More

Good place to clean up and rest before continuing your journey, but it is not the ideal spot if you like to sit outside your RV and enjoy the atmosphere.

Seems more like a residential trailer park. Reserved a Premium Space. Got there and found it was very difficult to maneuver our small 26-footer. The space was 12' wide (i measured) -just wide enough with slide out and no room room for chairs to sit out and enjoy the view limited by temporary chain link to keep people away from the eroding cliff. There was one other RV two spaces away, yet security asked us to retract our awning/move chairs because these were in the next space. Asked at the... Read More

Did not use facilities or restrooms. WIFI available at sites for a fee.

We needed a place to stay for a week near San Francisco to participate in a family wedding. This is perfect for that. Easy to get off and on the hiway as well as close to the airport. Our ocean front site was very narrow. With the bumpout we didn't have enough room to extend the awning. You can't really see the ocean from your trailer but you can hear it. Plenty of driveway to take the dog for a walk but there isn't a fenced area.
This place is "way" overpriced for the amenities offered. You need to come visit this place to see how "run down" everything is. The web-site misrepresents the actual place. The ocean view sites are falling down the cliff (almost) and they don't allow anyone to book on these sites anymore....but, they are still listed on the website. The other sites are so narrow, your slides (if not carefully maneuvered into your spot), will not open at all or will almost touch your neighbors on both sides... Read More

Considering price of each site, you would think they would at least offer WiFI but nope!! Don't know when everything went downhill but being a Thousand Trails/Encore owned property, you'd expect better. STAY AWAY!!!!

too expensive for a parking spot in an asphalt parking lot. levelish. clean and friendly. lots of laundry. no space between sites. if you are using it for a base camp to go into the city then it would serve its purpose. we did have the weather keeping us inside, cold and windy in June!! would think about staying somewhere else next time. but it worked for this trip.
I would recommend this campground, it is basically just a parking lot. The sites are very close. It was a perfect location to park the camper so you can go explore the city. The pool is nice! The staff are friendly and very helpful! The view is nice. The cliff is fenced off due to erosion. The laundry room was big with plenty of machines. I thought the showers/restroom could use some upgrading but appeared to be clean. We would return to this campground.
Stayed in a 45 ft. motorhome. Clean restrooms and showers. Extremely tight. Slides cleared our neighbor by about 1 ft. Very expensive but convenient to San Fran. Heavy erosion has closed area near cliff. Free wifi at office and laundry ... otherwise $. Place is OK for 1 or 2 night stay. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Be prepared for everything exposed to the outside to be covered with salt. Our windshield was a mess daily. Our new bicycles' chains and gears were rusted--in just two days. The sites are very narrow. Our slide's window was two inches from our neighbor's Class C. There were much nicer campground just a few miles down 101.
Very nice staff and a super location. A bit of salt fog but then it's right on the cliff face. Not super elegant more of a asphalt parking space but only minutes from the city
