There is a brand new Owner at this park as of May of 2020. They have really upgraded the place and looks great. All sites freshly graveled, new fence, new office and camp store, working on a dog park, remodeling and adding a recreation center and laundry facilities, great fishing and the young couple are locals that have camped there for years and now they are Owners. There is a brand new Owner at this park as of May of 2020. They have really upgraded the place and looks great. All sites freshly graveled, new fence, new office and camp store, working on a dog park, remodeling and adding a recreation center and laundry facilities, great fishing and the young couple are locals that have camped there for years and now they are Owners. They bring wood to the site when you buy it from the camp store, pick up trash any time of the day and are very visual and friendly at the park. Great additions to the camping world. Congrats to them. New name Friends O' Mine Campground and Cabins and the new motto - "make friends of mine, friends of yours"! Pay no attention to the past negative reviews.

managers were very rude when i told them i couldn't walk to the restrooms or shower because of a recent hip problem , (I'm 77 years old) and they agreed to only charge us for 2 days, when i got home, they had taken 103.00 out of my checking account on top of the 100.00 we had already given them. this caused my checking account to go into the red, the bank charged me 32.00 for being over limit, also while we were there, someone hit the back of my car leaving black marks and scratches, i reported... We stayed here for two nights during the week. It was close to the road but the A/C covered any of the traffic noise & at night it was quiet. It was a nice place for a few nights, WiFi was decent, the owner was friendly when checking us in & showing our spot. He even made sure we were all hooked up & if we needed anything else. The winery across the street told us that the old guy owner was a grouch and they were right. The wife was nice and the location was right for our week long stay.

Its a courtesy like sitting you at a table at a restaurant, traffic loud during the day but at night there are hardly no cars. We will come again better than campgrounds in surrounding areas, Brown County State park does not have water or sewage hook ups and all the sights are not level. Great WIFI
