I like this place and I've stayed here twice now. Once in late fall once in late summer. Neither time was the campground full or even half full. Pretty place. Several electric only sites on the bluff with a central water spigot close by. If you want water and sewer sites you need to be closer to the front of the loops. Dump station is near the entry gatehouse. Plenty of wildlife. A racoon sow with several cubs walked right through our first year site. Deer and Turkey are plentiful while out and... Read More

I like this place and I've stayed here twice now. Once in late fall once in late summer. Neither time was the campground full or even half full. Pretty place. Several electric only sites on the bluff with a central water spigot close by. If you want water and sewer sites you need to be closer to the front of the loops. Dump station is near the entry gatehouse. Plenty of wildlife. A racoon sow with several cubs walked right through our first year site. Deer and Turkey are plentiful while out and about. Huge beach area. Marina just out the gate with reasonable rates for pontoon boats. Getting there...from Monroe city keep your eyes peeled since signage is easy to miss. First year I missed it and went a few miles out of the way. GPS is unreliable as there are several goat trails that will take you there and my GPS tried to get me to use all of them.
