The park is well-kept and clean, and the sites are larger than typical for RV parks, with a nice grassy area separating sites and the location is great, just outside Missoula, Montana. The park is well-kept and clean, and the sites are larger than typical for RV parks, with a nice grassy area separating sites and the location is great, just outside Missoula, Montana. I should be writing a 5-star review, except for an irresponsible, dangerous incident inflicted on us by an RV park staff member and the egregious lack of concern by the park admin when the incident was reported. My wife and I, and our elderly German Shepherd dog were staying in our trailer; in the site next to us, in their trailer, our son, daughter-in-law, and our 2-year-old grandson. We had just returned from shopping and had started to unload our vehicles, with our grandson running around the grassy area between our sites and our German Shepherd leashed to the tree in the grassy area. When, out of the blue, this huge, loud riding lawn mower, without warning, started to mow through the grassy area between our sites. We had a running child, a frightened barking dog, toys, and cords on the grassy area, but the RV park maintenance person, lacking professionalism or common sense, essentially chased us off the grass, running over our stuff. We gestured to get him to stop, but he just shrugged his shoulders. Stunned, we quickly gathered our dog, child, and family members and got away. We were flabbergasted and angry. We walked to the office to lodge a complaint when we saw a park administrator walking towards us. We told her about the dangerous situation that had just occurred, telling her if the employee on the mower had simply stopped, and asked us to pick up our stuff and give him a few minutes to mow the grassy area, we would have happily complied. How did she respond? Shockingly, she blamed us for the situation! She said we should know it was “Mowing Day” and should have had our stuff put away and expected the mower to come by. She kept saying “Most people know it’s mowing day so expect to move their stuff”. A: even if it was “Mowing Day”, that didn’t give the RV park a right to simply mow towards us and our stuff. B) It WASN’T Mowing Day!! We had read the brochure they gave us at check-in the day before. Their own brochure stated mowing day was Thursday. This was a Saturday!! They could have told us during check-in or put out signs saying mowing day was changed to Saturday, but they didn’t.

This is a beautiful RV park with lovely landscaping and a field to play in. We stayed near the front along the edge of the grass. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restrooms and laundry facilities were great, with lots of room in the shower. All the facilities are well-maintained, well signed and organized. Our only complaint was the sprinklers that came on early in the morning, which made our picnic table unusable and would have soaked our camp chairs if we hadn't put them away the night... Read More

This place is a beautiful slice of paradise convenient to Missoula and surrounding area. Spaces have minimal appeal, just a picnic table, and the dog park is very small, however it is a tranquil and friendly park worth stopping at.

The other thing you will see when you stay here is how hard the staff and the owner and her family work to make this a CLASS A RV EXPERIENCE. While Jim and Mary's is classified as a campground, we chose it over another business that advertised itself as a RESORT and was far from that. The park is quiet and serene, the folks that stay here are friendly and there is ample space to walk and to enjoy the bucolic surroundings. We are delighted to have picked Jim and Mary's RV Park and it is clear as the Big Montana Sky that the owners have put their heart and soul into this lovely and inviting place. The rules are clearly posted, WIFI is offered and it works and you will want to put a stay on your calendar the next time you are in the Missoula area. The park is also very easily located off the I-90 and it is located on I-93 with plenty of fuel services nearby as well. Come and stay a night, a week or all winter at Jim and Mary's RV PARK because it is open and maintained year round.

The only thing I would change to this beautiful park is to expand the dog area to allow a little more running around for my dogs.

Beautiful little park just outside of Missoula. Green grass, flowers, and really pretty sites nestled in the trees. Definitely would stay again.

Last year we drove past this park heading to Glacier but it caught my eye since it was smaller and had beautiful flowers throughout. When we arrived and in a few other interactions, we found the camp hosts to be delightful. The sites are gravel and we did have a little problem leveling the rig but not a major issue as most of the other sites looked level. The small gardens throughout the park were being planted while we were here and in a few weeks it will look great. The center of the park has large mature trees. The bath facilities were clean and well-maintained. Other reviewers mention highway and train noise which there is but is fine overnight. They ask not to stream on the WiFi and we found access to email and social media was good all days. Connectivity on a Saturday night: T-Mobile 10.5 down/4.8 up Verizon 68.9 down/5.5 up WiFi 1.8 down/1.0 up. Overall, would rate this property a 4.5.

No park has shown a welcome quite like Jim & Mary's. The flower gardens are beautiful and everywhere you look! "Pretty" is not a typical adjective for RV parks. Lots of grass and mature trees. Very friendly staff, new dog area, great location. Perfect step between Yellowstone and Glacier. This is in our top 3 parks in this 6 week trip. About 20 min. from the Garden of 1000 Buddhas a very special place if you're into such things.

My wife and I are retirees and love to travel with our fifth wheel. This is by far, the nicest Good Sam park we have ever stayed at. The grounds were immaculate. Their little gardens throughout the park were a great touch and just amazing. The more you walked through the park, the more you noticed. Close to Missoula. Very quiet at night. This is a very cozy RV park. The owners of this park should be quite proud. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

This was the first campsite we have ever stayed at with our travel trailer--the beginning of a new adventure for us. It was very easy to make a reservation, as well as simple to get to from our former home in Missoula. Their level grounds and well-maintained RV site made our first set-up easy. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and well-kept. If we go back, though, we'll request a location with more shade as ours had very little. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and well-kept. If we go back, though, we'll request a location with more shade as ours had very little. I checked out the laundry room which was nice and spacious, but opted to go back in town to one I'd used previously as they had credit-card operated machines and I didn't have to find quarters. Something to think about for the future? The only downside for us was the noise level. The highway noise from Highway 90 was tolerable, as were the gunshots from a nearby range. (We're used to living in Montana.) Even the occasional plane didn't bother us as our former home had been under one of the flight paths. But the train, right behind us, with its screaming wheels was a bit much. Just something to be aware of if you go to this otherwise delightful park.

Extremely friendly and helpful, from giving directions on the phone to sending a text letting us know that our rv was "beeping" while we were out. Greatly appreciated their help and their friendly help. Beautiful and spacious rv site and park.

Older, but beautiful grounds, and nice shaded sites. Restrooms were the nicest by far during a five-state trip we were on by far. Clean, warm and roomy. Ditto the laundry. Staff was friendly and efficient and the small store had loads of nice local crafts and food items. Biggest drawback - it isn't the quietest park. Trains are nearby and fairly frequent nearby highway noise is apparent Missoula Airport is not far away and there is a shooting range nearby. Still, a comfortable mom and pop park.

What a lovely review. We certainly appreciate your business and taking the time to talk about it!

We stayed here twice in 2 weeks, just overnighters on our road trip. Very nice staff, clean park, nicely landscaped with lots of flowers, trees and grassy areas between sites. We got a pull through each time, the sites were more than large enough for our 30' trailer and truck. Restrooms are large and clean but there is one step up at the door that I forgot about while exiting and nearly fell. Cable TV was included with limited channel selections. It's a few miles west of the main business area of Missoula for grocery shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in September in 35' class A with toad. Long level pull through site, good hook-ups, cable. This park makes you feel good. It is a very park like setting with large trees and lots of grass. Large sites with plenty of space. The leaves were falling and it was a little rainy. The kind of place that makes you want to curl up with some coffee in front of the heater and stay for a while. I never give 5 stars but this is a very nice park.

5 5 out of 5 stars 05/19/2018

Spacious and very well maintained. Park like setting with plenty of mature trees and large grassy areas. Lots of fir cones and needles in core carea makes it a bit messy, but provides nice shade. Spaces are well planned with more than ample room. Many, not all, spaces can handle big rigs. Polite and accomodating staff. Easy freeway access and close proximity to services. Overall a very nice facility that I recommend.

This RV park is outstanding. The sites are large, the flowers are so beautiful, the laundry and restrooms are immaculate. The owners are friendly and the entire staff is so congenial and efficient. The town has lots of fun to do and the area has lots to offer for site seeing. We will definitely stay in this park again when in the area. Reservations are needed because it is so popular.

A beautifully maintained, quiet RV park that's very near I-90 without the noise from the highway. I did hear some noise from a train track and was concerned that it may affect sleep, but it didn't. We only stayed for one night and didn't use the restroom or laundry facilities, but they're probably as immaculate as the park grounds. Cable TV and WIFI signals were great. We would definitely use this RV park again.

5 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/2016

This is a lovely park, nice layout, lots of pull-through sites, and flowers and trees everywhere. We only stayed for one night and didn't get to enjoy all the amenities. Although it is easy access to the freeway, we couldn't hear the freeway noise at all. There is a train nearby but not close enough to be loud or disturbing. We will stay here again.

pull thru site was not level, but utilities worked well. This is an old park and the utilities are toward the rear. Long pull for cable and water. Too many full timers and the rigs are falling apart. One site had a camper atop two work horses. We stayed one night and that was enough.

This is truly one of the delights of our trip to Montana...such spectacular flowers & garden settings arranged throughout the whole park, and grown from seeds on the property...the laundryroom didnt miss a stitch (from ironing board to lost & found sock rack). Each site was so beautiful that any space would be perfect. Looked forward to returning each day to just walk the park and take in the lovely greenery!
