The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. Our site was just off the big grassy area which was a very nice treat after weeks in desert areas with very little green. The restrooms were surprisingly nice. We have stayed here once before and would definitely stay again.
We stayed there two nights to charge flush and fill our RV in prep for Great Basin National Park and to enjoy what Ely has to offer. The RV Park has many shade trees, full hookups, is close to town and only 60 miles from Great Basin National Park. The showers and laundry areas are clean and well kept. The only problem we encountered were the dogs that attacked and bit my wife while doing our laundry. The dogs were unleashed, aggressive and drew blood on my wife's leg. We talked to the owner... We talked to the owner about the incident and he was very apologetic and went on to say that he knew they were mean dogs!!!! The owner of the dogs was also very apologetic and offered first aid supplies and assured the dogs had their veterinary shots up to date. She said she NEVER had problems with her dogs biting anyone (????). I told her she had a problem dog that was a liability not only to her but especially to the park owner. We did not seek urgent care as the wounds were minor and didn't want to deal with the COVID19 stuff. The owner of the park said he took care of the problem...
In the last four years we have traveled the 15 western states, been out dry camping in Grizzly and cat country and thought we were prepared for anything but if you stay here just beware of the dogs that live to the left of the shower/bathroom/laundry/office building. You may want to pack your bear spray.

Pull thru sites are very short and narrow. Right on Hwy 93 so therefore very noisy from the highway.
Dusty, needs gravel, Although next to Highway 93, Was hot enough to run a/c at night anyway, So traffic noise was not that bad. Power was steady for 50 amps, but did trip one day when all the pull-throughs were occupied. (only once). Lot's for residents at this park, but they are quiet neighbors. Close to Ely as a base for National Park (60 miles away). Suitable for overnight, even longer, I've seen worse.
All the pull-throughs are right next to a busy highway - Noisy. The electric cut off on me early in the morning. There is no cable. The WiFi is intermittent and does not support streaming as advertised. About half the residents are long-term and the lots are not kept up. All the roads and sites need a fresh application of gravel ...
Stayed one night in September in 35' class A with toad. All dirt roads & sites, stayed in pull through. Did not have to disconnect toad. Odd park arrangement and vehicles cut through our site very close to front door several times. Appears approximately half long terms. Power may be questionable as I blew several circuit breakers when I hooked up. Got that sorted and management confirmed hook-ups supplied steady 50A. No cable. Did not use other facilities.
The facility was not kept in good shape. There was dog poo all over the place. Bathrooms were shabby. The spaces were too narrow. The Park was too close to the freeway. We will not stay there again.
Campground location very nice and close to downtown. Also easy in and out. Had level gravel site with grass between. Restrooms clean and nice. Staff was very helpful. Early spring-not much going on. Would stay here again.
Nice campground, easy access to sites with grass and easy hookup. Will stay there again if in Ely. Thanks for keeping up a nice campground.
