Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort was a pleasant option on the island. We had a great back in site with plenty of room for our full size SUV toad and 45' coach. The staff and residents were polite. The grounds were well maintained. Hook-ups were good. My only complaint was that check-in is a bit slow mainly due to their process of going over every piece of information with you line by line. It was helpful but when you are tired from the road, you'd rather just get to your site. Park roads... Read More

One of the best campgrounds we ever stayed at...if you could call this camping. A really nice place. Great amenities and location.
This was our second visit to Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in 3 months and we absolutely love this Resort and the Island. Fantastic lots with great landscapes and amenities, this place is so nicely maintained with a professional team to greet you and get your parked on the lot.. Bike to the beach and restaurants with great bike paths and lots of shopping options. Nature at its best!!!
Loved site #168 here. I think that most of us that have traveled often know that the term resort is used very loosely. This RV park epitomizes the word resort. Check-in was easy and everyone was super friendly. All of the huge sites were on concrete blocks or pads with ample space for a tow and privacy from the adjacent sites. Landscaping was lush and beautiful and this site is just steps away from the pool, hot tub, clubhouse, tennis and pickle ball courts and laundry. We loved that this... Read More

We loved that this time of year you can take your dog to the beach at anytime and there are tons of bicycle paths to the beach, shopping or restaurants. We will definitely return to Hilton Head Island!

Beware what they don't tell you on their website. We were given an entire sheet of don'ts and can'ts upon arrival. And NONE of this is posted anywhere on the website, and is not sent to you when you book and pay your deposit. I really think it is just morally wrong from the position of being a good innkeeper not to tell you these things before taking your money. But I also don't think its entirely legal that they could have a not totally refundable deposit without full disclosure prior to collecting... Read More
Beware what they don't tell you on their website. We were given an entire sheet of don'ts and can'ts upon arrival. And NONE of this is posted anywhere on the website, and is not sent to you when you book and pay your deposit. I really think it is just morally wrong from the position of being a good innkeeper not to tell you these things before taking your money. But I also don't think its entirely legal that they could have a not totally refundable deposit without full disclosure prior to collecting it. They have a cancellation fee of $25 and a no refund policy if cancelled within the 48 hour arrival window. But the sheet of what is not allowed is presented to you just as you are in the process of checking in after a long trip, 4 hours on the road for us, and its expected to be reviewed all in just a few minutes as others are awaiting their turn to check as well. At this point we were really tired and just didn't care, so we just said ok fine, so we could get through the formalities. Turns out that you can't use any electric powered transportation, bicycles, scooters, and of course our new Segway's. We had left the regular bicycles at home specifically because we brought the new Segways to try out. But there was no prior mention of this policy, leaving us with nothing. Yet we saw plenty of electric bikes and scooters in the park at other sites. Even so, we played by the rules, and didn't get ours out because they also told us no way when I specifically asked them about it. We also have a little doggie pen that we put around our lawn chairs and outdoor TV so that the pups don't wander off while we are engrossed in a movie. Then again, a no way on that also. Yet we saw and took pictures of many others with them set up at their sites. This park seems to operate on 2 sets of rules. And I think that maybe if you own the lot rather than rent you can do what you want. I also missed the line about tents. Seems my pop up free standing screen room is prohibited also. I didn't catch that one and so the manager of the park came to our site and told me to take it down. And he was there so quickly. It hadn't been up more than half an hour. The park patrol of full timers were definitely on the job. We decided we had probably offended enough people, so we just stayed away from all of the facilities such as the pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and exercise room. All this and we had not even been there 24 hours. I'd have left and went somewhere else, but oh yeah that no refund policy. Oh and the fitting on the sewer connection was broken, so I didn't hook up to it and took the cracked part over to the office the next morning. They had a guy come around to look at it, but during our 7 day stay it was never replaced. Glad I reported it or they would have surely probably blamed it on me. So anyways, nice park, pretty, very wooded, decent value. But bottom line, way too much drama. I doubt we'll be back

WOW. A little pricey but worth every penny. Staff at check-in was great. Escort to site. Facilities are clean and neat. You feel like you are parked in someone's garden. HHI is a preserve so some of the rules seem a bit extreme but are dictated by state requirements. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Bike paths cover the entire island and start at the resort entrance. Restaurants and shopping with-in walking/biking distance. Beach is about a 10 minute bike ride and you can ride on the beach.... A wonderful place with a really big pool, and a large community room with excellent bathrooms and showers; large laundry machines, etc. Truly seemed 'resort-like'. Sites were spacious, either brick/stone or cement, with semi-private separation due to high shrubs, etc. All motor coaches, no trailers, etc. Ride on 'town' bike trails to all the best places and beach right from outside the gate. So nice! We'll go again. You can even buy slots that other owners of the resort wish to now sell, should... Read More

This is one of the best true Motor Coach resorts we've ever stayed. Been there many times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Very close to the beach (1 mile) and a variety of restaurants. Paved biking paths over the complete island. All resort sites are privately owned, with most of them well landscaped. Sites are level concrete or pavers. Beautiful pool, great tennis courts, clubhouse, shower rooms and laundry area. All of which are very well maintained and super clean.... Read More
