Where do I start? Well, the positive things about this campground are that it is right on the river with canoe/kayak/tube access, and it has great water pressure. Staff were generally courteous and helpful....and that's about where it stops. The entire 3 nights/4 days we were there, we had constant problems with the electricity. Voltage (monitored by meter) was like a roller coaster. Up and down from as low as 98 volts back up to 120+ volts...every 5 minutes or less, 24 hours a day, with the... Read More

Up and down from as low as 98 volts back up to 120+ volts...every 5 minutes or less, 24 hours a day, with the campground basically empty to entirely way over-crowded. A person in our party received a shock from touching 1 of the electric boxes.
The "sites" are all grass, and very close together, not well defined or marked, and the roads are dirt. Yes, dirt. And not watered down at all. Everything we had was covered with dust.
There were signs up everywhere for 5mph speed limit, but it was rarely enforced, and the biggest violators were the staff (especially the canoe retrieval van).
The closest bathroom to our site was a 2 hole outhouse, and the dumpster there was full (overflowing) for all but 12 hours after it was dumped, and critters (including skunks) were taking full advantage of it.
Kids were out all hours of the night, on the roads and messing with people's camping equipment.
I have to think that there is no way that they weren't WAY over their allowed capacity, because there were hundreds of tents all over the place, multiple tents (4-5-6) on a site.
Cell service, WiFi, TV ???? Forget it.......non-existent
Definitely on our do not return list......

Our Sites were river front. Nice and deep sites. However we did have to hook up water down 2 sites from us. Electric was an issues. Big Toyhayler Rig on site next to us and blew power from not enough amp from the shared pole with the neighbor. They got the 30 amp hook up and we got a 110 plug in for 30 amp. Would have brought my generator is I had know prior. We were without air first night and it was HOT because the pole couldn't take the rigs running air so much. Office people were nice... Read More

Office people were nice to us, but witnessed 2 times them having not friendly conversations with other campers and no sympathy.
Will try another campground next time.
