We had a great stay at Heceta Beach RV Park. Check-in was smooth. Mini-Mart had all of the last-minute needs. RV spots were flat, wide, and long. Hook-ups were 100% great. There is nice natural privacy between each site. Though the pads were all gravel, the whole park is well taken care of. Staff are super-friendly and beach is a 10 minute walk from the RV park. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. Highly recommend.
We loved our one month stay at this quiet and peaceful park within walking distance from the beach. You can even hear the ocean waves at night. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again. ??
This was our 2nd visit to this RV park. We came back because of its' close proximity to the beach. It's just a short walk away. When my daughter told me she had reserved some days the week after July 4th, we decided to see if we could join them. I called the park, and I was able to reserve a site. At that time, I said that we would at least like to be near my daughter's site. I was not told which sites we would be in. I pretty much had to keep my fingers crossed that we weren't on complete opposite... Read More

When my daughter told me she had reserved some days the week after July 4th, we decided to see if we could join them. I called the park, and I was able to reserve a site. At that time, I said that we would at least like to be near my daughter's site. I was not told which sites we would be in. I pretty much had to keep my fingers crossed that we weren't on complete opposite sides of the park. The park isn't that big, so that was not a huge deal to be close, but it would have been nice. That being said, make sure if you are traveling with another party to make your reservations at the same time in order to be by each other.
My daughter's little family have a pop up tent trailer that is rather big when popped up, and they found their site to be pretty cramped. It took some maneuvering, but they got it situated. The grands like to sleep in their tent, so they got that pitched and settled in for the night. The next morning, management told them that they could not have the tent and the pop up in the same site. Only one "RV" per site is what they were told. Well, they did make a deal, they could keep the tent if they moved it to the back of the site, and dropped it down during the day. Ok, the tent got moved and they dropped it down during the day. The next morning around 10:00 am, management came by and told them they would have to pay extra for being allowed to have the tent because they did not have it dropped down. The kids just got up, they planned on dropping it down. I think they were expected to drop it at day break...sheesh! Really?
There wasn't anything on their web site about "tent" rules. If they don't allow it then they need to state that.
When we were departing, I stopped in the office and I wanted to tell them that I was very disappointed with how my kids were treated. I was only met with hostility. I just turned around and walked out, because the guy was coming at me. Unreal.
My daughter wrote a review on Google, and the managements' reply was:
"We are sorry we could not meet your needs. But we are gladdened you won't be returning. Travel safe."
Too bad...I liked the short walk to the beach. Sigh.

Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and you can hear the ocean all the time from the RV park. We stayed near the end of the park and had a very poor wifi signal but fortunately used our Wifi Ranger to improve the signal. Saw another review that wifi was strongest at the store. Can't speak for Verizon but we had no service with AT&T and tried several locations like the store, walking towards the beach to the Driftwood Shores Resort but no service everywhere. Caught up with family and friends when we drove into town.

Stayed here five months in 2018 Winter. Exceptionally attentive owners and staff to the condition and culture of the park. Every concern was quickly addressed. Facilities are clean with improvements being made by new owners. This is not a party site - quiet at night except for the sound of ocean waves. When I asked about rules, the answer was, "Be nice." Tall trees and good division between sites. Quick, easy walk to the beach.
You can hear the ocean from the park and the beach is within walking distance. Clean with very private sites. While pet friendly, there is no grass of designated pet areas. Restrooms are a bit older but well kept up and clean. Nice staff and store. Florence, OR is close by for anything you might need. Located for wonderful drives up of down the coast.
We stayed here during a very busy weekend. The 2 ladies in charge were so nice. They didn't have any rv hook up spots left but knew it was getting late in the afternoon and knew we needed a place to stay. They offered us a tent site that wasn't in use. The restrooms and showers were clean, they have a great little mini mart on site and the park itself was just a short 10 minute walk to the beach. The camping spots were close but secluded. We will definitely stay here again!
Thank you for staying with us. Travel safe.
When we checked in management told us we would have to move in five days because someone had requested our site. So we moved two sites over which was narrower than the old site. We were crowded and had a hard time getting the slides out. Then we found out a small camper moved into the old site and it was their first time here. The site was was more than enough for that small camper. The new people had not requested that site. Really poor customer service! We will not be back!!
When you checked in you wanted to extend your stay. We let you know that in order to accommodate the extra days you would have to move to a different site for the extra days you wanted. That is all we could do. The problem was not with us.
What a great facility, and the staff is amazing. We have a 33ft RV towing a jeep and have plenty of room for both. One of the best things about the sites, is there are hedges between each site, total privacy. Clean and well maintained park, and amazing restrooms. They have a mini-mart in case you forgot something, and a great lounging room, gave me some time to get some work done before going out exploring. We will be back. FYI, the WIFI is the strongest in the meeting room.
Thank you for staying with us. Safe travels.
Stayed two nights. Peaceful setting. New owners were super nice and informative. We recommend this park very highly.
Thank you for staying with us. Travel safe
Close to a super beach, but limited parking at the beach close by. There are other parking locations that need to be paid for. Nice private camp sites, trees and bushes separate each site. Full hook ups, all worked well without problems. The facility is under new management this week. Friendly folk who stayed late at the mini mart so we could finish our washing loads. Two washers and two dryers. Many large pull through sites for big rigs. Sites are crush rock based and some had large puddles after... Read More

Friendly folk who stayed late at the mini mart so we could finish our washing loads. Two washers and two dryers. Many large pull through sites for big rigs. If we come this way again, we'll definitely stay here again.

Nice park, easy access. Firepits are nice and close to the beach. We will be back
This is a quiet park with hedges separating each site. The roads are gravel but not dusty. It is located about a quarter mile from the beach. I thought it was noticeably warmer and less windy than the nearby beach. The owners are very nice and take a lot of pride in the park. They even loaned me a battery charger as my toad battery was DOA.
We have stayed here numerous times in our Class A MH. We love the peace and quiet and the privacy that the hedges between each space provides. We also love the proximity to the beach and to Florence, as well as to the Fred Meyer store for groceries and gas. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even changed our "toad's" flat tire the last time we were staying here. Nice market on site with a good selection of wines, snacks, magazines, and whatever you need. Laundry is clean, but... Laundry is clean, but expensive and there are only two washers and two dryers, so doing laundry takes awhile.
The road behind the last row of spaces is a great place to walk the dog. Price for pull-thru with GS discount is reasonable. Each space has a picnic table and fire ring and wood is sold on site as well. Spaces are ample with room to park your toad. We always enjoy our stay here.

We have stayed here other times and each time what impresses us most is the owners and how they try to always accommodate your needs. Not to mention they are just plain friendly, wonderful people. This park is an easy walk to Heceta Beach making it ideal for those daily walks on a beautiful beach.
Great place. Quiet, short or long walk to the beach. All facilities were very clean. Pull thru sites.
Peaceful, within walking distance to beach and restraunt
This is a very nice RV park. I really like the privacy between the sites; it is set up with very large thick hedges between them. Restrooms were a bit crowded and heavily used. Nice laundry and convenience store.
