We stayed there one night passing through. Doesn't look anything like the cover picture. The pool is a wreck. Nice big property, lot of trees, water and electric worked well. no cable or wifi. We walk the whole campground after dinner. Many "campers" are living there, "many". No staff on duty when we arrived, we picked out a nice site, set up, put $30 in the drop box with the campground form and had a good night sleep. We felt safe, we would stay there again in a pinch.
We stayed here one night while passing through the area. We did not use any of the facilities here so are unable to comment on them. Cable TV worked well. We were in a large pull-through site with plenty of space. It started raining right after we got set up and did not get out to look around. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I would stay there again if passing through the area.
We enjoyed our stay, especially the view of the pond from our RV. Many people seem to live here long term and drive in and out for jobs. Yes, I also saw some ant piles that another reviewer had mentioned, so beware of those. If like Florida ant piles, they are the red ants that give painful bites, but I never got close enough to find out the ant variety. It was comforting to see the local police patrolling early the next morning, but maybe he lives there also. The campground is near the highway... Read More

The campground is near the highway but not too close to be a bother for noise.
The lady who answered the phone (sorry I do not remember her name..Nancy??) was kind and cheerful. She checked us in at the office in a way that was welcoming, although she said she had not been on the job very long. I actually decided to stay there instead of another place just because of her welcoming manner on the phone.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Nice concrete pad for Pull-through parking. No issues with water/sewer/cable hook ups. Greeting was friendly and helpful! Couldn't use much of the facility due to Covid. We got a pond-view spot which was nice, a bit buggy at our site (watch out for ant hills) but I guess that may just be due to time of year. Would stay here again.
We had a pull thru site with lots of shade. Park is beautiful, with lots of trees and open space. Restrooms are ok. The laundry area was nice. They are in the process of doing some repair work to the outside of the recreation facility. The pool was closed, due to Covid 19. Would definitely stay here again.
Overnight stay while en route to Memphis. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Booked an pull thru which was long enough for both an 37' 5th wheel & vehicle since I did not disconnect. Cannot commit on restrooms since we did not use them, but the park overall appeared to be well maintained. Lots of tall pines as advertised, had to park my RV just right as to be able open all 3 slides. Great place for an overnight from my perspective.
Stayed one night en route home from Alaska and then Yellowstone NP. Night #93 on this adventure. This one is ranked as "average" on our list of RV parks for the summer. Park is easy to find and enter from the main highway, and check-in was also easy and efficient. Staff is pleasant and provides a friendly, southern hospitality style atmosphere. Sites are on rolling terrain and ours was not as level as we were used to. The exit from the site, and from the park itself, included going under branches... Read More

Sites are on rolling terrain and ours was not as level as we were used to. The exit from the site, and from the park itself, included going under branches on the tree-lined gravel road. These branches need cutting back. They did contact the trailer and roof mounted air con units. Luckily, we saw all of them in time to slow to 1-2 MPH to preclude damage. Stay here again? Maybe.

A large campground with many long term campers. Most of the short term campers are in a separate part of the park. If you plan to use the laundry or restrooms, ask to be in to the back part with the long term campers. Sites have concrete pads and full hookups. Restrooms are clean but there are only two shower/commode combos each for ladies and men for the entire park. The laundry is spacious with several relatively new washers and dryers. The campground is located on US 231 N outside Troy,... Read More

May return but would probably go to Montgomery instead as it's easier to get there.

Grate for long stay. Friendly people help make your stay comfortable. New laundry is out standing. Restrooms and laundry as well as the entire campground is very clean and well kept. Pad sites are cement and level. Grass yard with picnic table trees well spaced trimmed high, plenty of room for high riggs.
Stopped here over night. Very friendly and helpful staff. The sites are neat, clean and have concrete pads. Everything was in good working order. The entry road is gravel. would stay here again.
Large park with close to 100 sites. Easy road access into and in the park. Check in was fast and friendly. Even though the park is on Hwy 231, the road noise was minimal. The park is well maintained and very pretty. There is a large catch and release pond as well as another pond. There is a spa on sight, didn't use it but it has good ratings. We were in Site 59, a concrete pull-through with full hook-ups, no issues and 50 amp electric. The sites are angled so you are not looking right into your... Read More

We were in Site 59, a concrete pull-through with full hook-ups, no issues and 50 amp electric. The sites are angled so you are not looking right into your neighbor and a little wider than normal. Our site was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There is laundry on site but we did not use it. There are plenty of places to walk the dog and some secluded areas for off lead running. WiFi was good as was our Verizon signal. We stayed December 1, 2017 and paid $37.62 a night with our Good Sam Discount.

We stayed at this beautiful RV park during our evacuation from Florida due to Hurricane Irma. The management and staff were so helpful and kind to us during our stay. We look forward to a return visit during a less stressful time.
Very impressed with this campground. They even escorted us to our site. The spa was great!
Beautiful setting and well-maintained grounds in a quaint little area in the corner of Alabama. Restrooms clean, very clean!
The people that worked here were very nice. They gave us free popcorn at check-in and guided us to our lot. The lots were a good size, with level concrete pads and full hookups. There was not much to do here for families with kids, but it made a great overnight stop.
Sorry but the Good Sam rating of this park is way too high. It is looking tired and unkempt. Seems to be many long-term RV's with all the "stuff" that entails. There is a mobile home park at the end of the RV park that makes for more traffic through the RV park. Dumpsters are over-flowing and smelly. Wifi is almost worthless. Other utilities are fine and are mostly level concrete pads, but no patios. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We were enroute from Florida to Michigan and needed a pull thru site for an overnite stay. Called ahead inquiring availability and advising of our late arrival. The gal could not have been nicer and explained the arrangements to come in and pick a site. When I inquired about the price she informed me of the "special discount" for late arrivals vs waiting for the office to open the next morning! It was a nice treat. We arrived in the pouring rain, around 8:30 pm picked a pull thru, hooked up to electric and slept like babies.
We would like to return to this park when we can spend a week as it was very nice when we were able to view it all the next morning! We did not use any of the facilities.

the sites are very close together, only some have bricked patio, others with grassy area they don't allow rugs down [i hate standing in grass].. the new laundry room was excellent, washers have good spin cycle & dryers heat up nicely and dry well.. We arrived late, and were pleasantly surprised there was a late arrival discount. $25 Beautifully well-maintained rv park. There were two fishing ponds/lakes on the property which made it very scenic.
Wonderful RV park - spacious sites, plus we loved all of open area and water. Very peaceful. We only stayed one night - next year we will be staying much longer, not just staying as a "stop" on the way.
Extremely nice staff; we were greeted with fresh popcorn and a local newspaper. Check in was quick and we were escorted to our site. Concrete pads were level and hook ups conviently located. Nice campground for walking which feels good after a long day in the truck. Campground is located close to the highway which makes for an easy in and out. The traffic noise was not bad with a fan running. Nice stop if you are traveling.
Stayed over nite. Very friendly staff. Clean restroom. Easy pull thru
This was a great place. Nice and quite. We were the pool and spa. Our site was a pull thru, pads were nice, bog and flat. The site we had was shaded. It was a bit of a walk to the restrooms and if you are by the restrooms, it is a little bit of a walk to the pool. We liked it so much we stay there on our return trip and it was just as nice.
