My wife liked that they decorated for halloween. And we liked that the sites were not too close together. They had a nice dog park and walking area for us. They were friendly and helped us back into our site. Even though it was crowded it didn't seem like people were too close.. The location is great.
Over the years we've visited many KOA campgrounds, including our local KOA in our home town. THIS KOA IS THE BEST OF THEM ALL! Great attention to the campers from the super friendly staff, beautiful deluxe campsites with great attention to detail including the most comfortable Adirondack chairs by the fire pits, clean bathrooms, SUPER clean park, very level sites and nice layout into the mountain side. I cannot say enough about how wonderful we felt and how comfortable we were during our stay.... Read More

It's great to be a KOA member and visit a park that is so proud of their campground. The store was well stocked with provisions and many special items that we never saw before. Such a friendly and happy staff. BOOK THIS CAMPGROUND WITH CONFIDENCE THAT YOU WILL BE TREATED AS A SPECIAL CAMPER, TRULY THE BEST SITE AND CAMPGROUND WE HAVE BEEN TO.

This campground was very accessible from the interstate and far enough away that we could not hear any traffic noise. The campground was extremely well maintained and we enjoyed the time we spent there. The dog walk area was at the south east end of the campground and at the top of a small hill, it had little grass and did not seem to be a work in progress. I would certainly stay at the campground on future trips.
The best campground we stayed in for the fall colors. We stayed a week during fall colors and Halloween celebration. Many campers went all out in decorating and it was great fun watching the children trick or treating. The hot dogs and brats were a hit as well. The staff were some of the nicest we have come across and made us feel special.
This is one our favorite CG's: friendly, competent staff, meticulous grounds, lots of trees & generous sites, all kinds of interesting stuff to do in the area! Choices of different "levels" of site + nice cabins, recycling, trash pick-up at sites. Enclosed dog walk area + bags at several other spots. This time we were pulling a 14' utility trailer with our 26' C-class RV. We knew we would not fit the site available & would need to unhook the trailer & park near the entrance. When I checked... This time we were pulling a 14' utility trailer with our 26' C-class RV. We knew we would not fit the site available & would need to unhook the trailer & park near the entrance. When I checked in, the staff knew of our situation, immediately contacted someone to assist us, then take us to our site up the hill. We had an unexpected electric problem with our unit, unrelated to the CG supply. A qualified staff person came to our site and spent close to half an hour helping us "trouble shoot". Nothing but good happening here!!!
