UPDATE: Grande Hot Spring RV resort is our 105th stop and stayed 2 nights. This is our second time at this park and an important reason for this stop during our current 1,200 mile trek is to soak in the springs again. Great therapy for a road trip. Things are the same as our last stay except the price, of course. Very clean and nicely maintained with many long sites for big rigs. The staff are all friendly and got a good laugh when checking in. Would rate this a 4.3 overall. In terms of connectivity,... Read More

Verizon – 25.0 down/5.72 up T-Mobile – 3.0 down/0.42 up Park WiFi (no connection) Last comment with no reflection on my rating – our two small dogs were charged twice by a dog who got out of his collar and another who had the leash where the dog could be in the road. Then there were the off leash dogs, dogs being walked by a toddler, etc. Should not feel like walking through a gauntlet every time we leave the rig. C’mon dog owners! Get your act together and be responsible.

We stayed at Grande Hot Springs RV Resort for one night and were bummed out…that we couldn’t stay longer! Five miles off the interstate, we found the setting to be a great place to relax, rest and recharge after a couple of driving days. The sites themselves are not spectacular by any means but the peace and quiet, nice surroundings of the marsh and mountains as well as the two soaking pools was great. The utilities including the WiFi worked well with no issues and the office resembled that of a... Read More

If coming back this way, would definitely rebook but for more than one night.

Beautiful grounds however due to staffing you cannot utilize the hot spring in peak hours 6-9 PM. In addition I wasn't able to complete my laundry due to the staff utilizing 100% of the machines. I finally pulled my wash ( I nosed my way into a washer) and dried it outside. The kicker is when we asked about the spa hours we were told to go find them employees and then we can use it. WHAT!! We aren't staying. My Hope is they get their staffing together and dont put the onus on paying customers... Read More

This is our third time staying at this wonderful campground. Because of Covid restrictions, the office/store was closed, but you could communicate through the office window. The owners/staff are always nice, friendly and informative. The setting of this park is stunning, especially if you enjoy being in nature--the perfect place for birding during the day and star-gazing at night. We have a large RV (42 ft.) and we tow a car on a tow-dolly. This is a perfect big-rig campground.

This is actually the second time we have stayed here this year, once in the spring and now in the fall (didn't write a review the first time since this was one of the first parks we stayed in). We are fairly new to the RV life, but have stayed in quite a few in several western states over the past half year. This is by far one of the best. It is a few miles from the freeway so no real road noise. It is across the road from the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Refuge so there are lots of opportunities to... Read More

We are fairly new to the RV life, but have stayed in quite a few in several western states over the past half year. This is by far one of the best. It is a few miles from the freeway so no real road noise. It is across the road from the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Refuge so there are lots of opportunities to see birds, deer, and elk at different times of the year. We work while on the road and the wifi here is excellent. In most parks we end up using our cell phone hotspots, but it is not necessary here. As many have commented, the spaces are all pull throughs with lots of space in between. With the angles of the spaces, there can be someone next to you, but you don't notice when you go out. Our travel trailer and pickup are about 60 feet, and there is no issue with these long spaces and wide turning areas. We have not used the pool, but it looks pretty small. The bathrooms have 2 showers and 3 toilets/urinals. Kind of small, but well maintained and clean. I think we picked up about 60 tv stations (several duplicates) over the air and they all come in very clear. The hookups are in great shape and easy to use. They have great areas to walk dogs and have bags and disposal bins all over the park. I'd highly recommend this park if you are in the area.

Nice staff. Great washrooms and pool. Grass needed cutting at the site.

This park has been our "one-nite" stopover for several years when we travel between OR and Twin Falls, Idaho. Well maintained in a beautiful setting. The BEST Wi-Fi we have ever had in a RV park. No cable, but digital TV reception was excellent. We had a pull-thru packed gravel spot adequate for our 42-ft DP and tow vehicle with room for all slides. Great outdoor pool. We did not use laundry or restroom facilities. The park is a bit off the beaten path from the freeway and the access road... Read More

Nice wide open park. No trees where we were put. 100 pull thru pads. Can be very windy. Lots of places to walk. About 5 miles from interstate. Why the low rating? Tried to use the restrooms after pool hours and could not get in. So, showers are only available during pool hours. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Only one shower for the entire park. Nice views and very nice hosts.

Very pleasant RV park Pros: Quiet (far from main road) LARGE spacious spaces 50 AMP service in most locations All pull-through spots Clean park Very pleasant and friendly staff Solid Wi-Fi Cons: Small swimming pool for size of park This was a great little park we stopped at for two days. I have seen very few RV parks with deserve a 5 star rating (or 10 on Good Sam) but this is one.

Great rv park with views wildlife and local exploring Even the wifi worked.....first time in 5 months Be sure to spend $10 @ for tour of next door hotel museum....one of the best private collections of indian and other history weve seen. Park is clean and quiet and should be all 9.5 ratings

The managers at this park are very helpful and accommodating. We brought our trailer to the manufacturer for some warranty work. Not knowing how long our trailer would be at the shop, we couldn't make firm reservations. Hot Lake worked with us to do daily rentals. This is not a fancy resort style park but the spaces are level, the hook-ups easy to get to, the WI-FI worked well. The pool and hot tub are very well maintained and enjoyable. We have been to this park twice and enjoyed it both times.

This is a peaceful and fun place to stay. We had intended to only stay two nights but extended to a week because there is so much to do in the La Grande area. The facilities are excellent and the owners are in the process of upgrading to make them even more appealing to all types of campers. This was not our first time and will definitely not be our last!
