This is a fun place. Lots of vendors, shows on weekend. Cement drives, good bath houses. Pool, and more. A little off the beaten path but worth the 9 mile drive up Eldridge from I-10. Recommend this RV park. A fun stop Saturdays and Sundays.
The good: Clean park, lots of convenient waste barrels, level concrete slabs, friendly folks, pet friendly. Most sites are pull thru. The Bad: Very NARROW sites. Could not put awning out. Nowhere to set up picnic table at site. All sites we visited were similar. no room between slides from neighbors. A lot of leaves and debris in pool. Would encourage to view aerial shot on map before visit.
When we visit our daughter in Houston, we stay here. Have been to Traders Village frequently over the past 4-5 years. The sites are concrete and level. The grounds are well kept and clean. The staff is friendly. They have security on site so we always feel safe. On the weekend we enjoy walking through the market area. What I don't get is how they got a rating of 10 on restrooms by Good Sam. While we were there in February, the shower curtains disappeared from the 2 bath houses on the Eldridge... Read More

While we were there in February, the shower curtains disappeared from the 2 bath houses on the Eldridge Rd side of the campground. When we return the end of March, they were still gone and it wasn't until early April that they were replaced. The restrooms do not have Air Conditioning and minimal heating so in the summer they are hot and in the winter they are cool. From time to time someone will prop the bath house door open. While the bath houses are clean, having the doors open lets small bugs enter so you get to take showers with whatever crawls in. The shower stall are a good size but there is no hooks or chair/stool in the dressing area of the shower to place your personal belongings. At best, I would give the bathrooms a 4-5 our of 10.

Very nice clean park. Closest laundromat was closed while we were there so had to drive to the other one. LP gas was not available on weekend so had to drive 18 miles to a Pilot Would stay there again.
Overall it's okay. Restrooms were clean but smell of smoke. The flea market was nice, easy access, but a lot of the same things. Easy access in and out of the park.
