This is a little known gem near Vincennes, IN. We had planned a trip over Memorial Day weekend to visit the George Rogers Clark National Monument. Little did we know this was also the weekend of the Rendezvoux - which is a Revolutionary War re-enactment. Great history and a great time. The campground was relatively small - only 35 sites - so it never felt overcrowded. This is a little known gem near Vincennes, IN. We had planned a trip over Memorial Day weekend to visit the George Rogers Clark National Monument. Little did we know this was also the weekend of the Rendezvoux - which is a Revolutionary War re-enactment. Great history and a great time. The campground was relatively small - only 35 sites - so it never felt overcrowded. We were worried based on the site's information that our travel trailer might not fit (37 feet long), but after an email to the hosts they assured us it would be fine. They were right - the TT fit on the site perfectly. The restrooms were exceptionally clean and air conditioned. Nice hiking trails, some leading to the Wabash river. The hosts of the campsite were extremely courteous and helpful. Would go back to this campground in a heartbeat.
