It's a beautiful little park in the mountains east of Asheville. Great for trailers and pop up campers, but would not recommend for large class A coaches. The first thing you see, six mile from the park is a sign recommending no trucks because of severe curves and switch backs. Got nasty scratches on the way up which I have never had in 10 years of class A driving. Once you get there the foliage is low and they self proclaim trimming upon request. Unless you are ok with scratches I would stay... Read More

The Park itself is lovely, with the little stream running behind it. The best campsites back onto the stream, but most of the campsites are close together. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The internet is useless and there is no cell phone, so if you want to be off the air, this is it. The road to get there is quite winding and narrow in parts, but no big problem. Showers/rest rooms were basic.

Beautiful park that is immaculately clean. Everything in the park is very neat and nice sites that back up to a nice stream.Sites are nice and wide with packed gravel pads and roads. The owners are very nice and helpful. The only negative is no cell service or personal wi-fi.cl.ose to Black Mountain and Asheville

Owners we very helpful. Live on sight. Park is extremely clean and very quite. Buck Creek is a very soothing stream and picturesque. Suggest getting one of the sights with a deck on the stream. Will return again soon. Highly recommended for relaxing time. Very nice dog area.

The facility is very clean and landscaping is well groomed. All the sites are back in sites and the stream was right behind us. The stream was beautiful and sounded great all day long. We have no small children and there is no real playground so there is very little for them to do. There is no cell service, NONE. You rely on the owners Wi-Fi. They say that it is free however user beware it is limited, strictly by the owners. Our friends internet was cut off the first day and ours the second day.... Read More

They say that it is free however user beware it is limited, strictly by the owners. Our friends internet was cut off the first day and ours the second day. We were told we used too much data and were on non-approved sites. Yes they knew what sites we were on and the times. And they won't turn your service back on for 24 hours. Quiet time is 10 pm, ok and lights out is 10 pm. Yes they asked us to turn our lights out as well. Too much control. The roads were so narrow for the last 7 miles that you find yourself on both sides of the road just to make sure you don't hit the rocks. Lots of switch backs and turns that will take your breath.

Campground has no cell phone coverage and no WiFi (although advertised as such). Sites are narrow. Dogs are required to use the bathroom either on the gravel road or in the very small, half graveled dog park. Campgound rules explain that if the dog urinates or stools in any grassy areas, (even when picked up), it creates bacteria in the grass. Person at sign in desk is robotic.
