I called on July 11th, 2022 to make a reservation for August 11th. The manager told me she did not have a space available, however she would check with a camper who had Space #7 reserved on when she was coming. She told me to call back in the afternoon to see if the space would be available. I did so and she told me it would be available for me. I tried to give her a credit card to secure the site, but she stated they did not take credit card. ??? But, the space was available for me. When... Read More

When I arrived on August 11th, I went up to the office and the manager was sitting on the porch. She asked if she could help me and I told her I had a reservation. She immediately stated I did not in fact have a reservation and they did not take reservations. And, there was no vacancy. Even after I showed here the printout I had of our conversation she denied ever talking to me.
I had selected this park since it was close to downtown. The website looked ok. The park is dirty, the sites are small and crowded. Full of full-timers. Some of the rigs looked as if they had not been moved in years.

We needed to dump our RV tanks and I called Keystone RV Park on a Tuesday to see if we could pay to dump there if we hadn't camped there. I got voicemail twice and left two detailed messages. I did not receive a call back all day, so I called a third time. A woman finally answered the phone and I asked about paying to use their dump station. She said yes, we could use their dump station for a $10 fee. When I mentioned I had already left two voicemail messages, so she could just delete them,... Read More
We needed to dump our RV tanks and I called Keystone RV Park on a Tuesday to see if we could pay to dump there if we hadn't camped there. I got voicemail twice and left two detailed messages. I did not receive a call back all day, so I called a third time. A woman finally answered the phone and I asked about paying to use their dump station. She said yes, we could use their dump station for a $10 fee. When I mentioned I had already left two voicemail messages, so she could just delete them, she said was out on the lot all day and hadn't checked voicemail all day. My first voicemail was left at 5:30 a.m. and the second one at 12:30 p.m. and no call back by 2:30 p.m. What if I had been an actual camper arriving in town who needed a spot, or if it had been an emergency?
Then, when we arrived at the RV Park, there was no sign directing visitors to the office, so we had to drive around the entire park looking for the office. The woman behind the counter took my $10 cash and pointed in the general direction of the dump station and mentioned there was no sign for the dump station. Signs would be nice, as my husband and I both missed the office and the dump station when we drove in.
A very nice security guard opened the padlock on the chute for us. My husband then had to back up our 34-foot Class A behemoth a good distance to line up with the dump chute, but he noticed that there was a very large tree branch growing out over the driveway that blocked us from getting close to the chute. There were also numerous low-hanging tree branches that completely scraped the entire top of our RV, including our solar panels, our swamp coolers, air conditioners, vents, etc. I mentioned to the security guard that we store our RV really close to Keystone RV Park and we were glad to find a dump station so close to our storage lot, and that we would probably use their dump station regularly. When I asked him if he would ask the owner to cut that large branch off and trim back those trees, he said the owner wouldn't do it. I asked if he was too cheap and he said no, that the RV Park had been in the owner's family for years, which didn't really make sense to me.
Because of the overgrown tree, my husband wasn't able to get our RV close enough to the chute and ended up breaking our dump hose in half. I asked if they had an extra one we could borrow and they said no (seems like something an RV Park should have available). Also, there was no garden hose available to use and the water faucet at the dump station was one of those old-fashioned types that's either off or full-blast, total pain!

VERY SMALL SITES, lots of long term rigs, narrow roads, all back in,the only thing good I have to say is the staff was friendly
Office staff was very helpful with the check-in procedure. The dog run area on the map amounted to a 4 ft strip of dirt on the edge of the rv park. It is a down town park with all asphalt parking, a lot of full time campers, many with sites over run with small air conditioners, car parts, un-kept storage area; even had a car with flat tires parked next to their rig. Cable box, water connections have not been maintained. Proximity to down town is a plus. Interstate noise was not an issue.
When we arrived we were told where the sites that were 30 amp and to choose one and report back. The sites were small and awkward for our 36' 5th wheel. After much jockeying around we got in. Hooked up then tried the internet....No connection in that site and the wireless signal was down. The area was filled with "Permanent" trailers and junk scattered throughout. Left the next day ! Not for us !
