Friendly staff, clean park.
Staff is friendly and helpful and park is conveniently located just west of Grove with plenty of stores etc., however, be warned there is NO cable for cable TV, antenna television reception is almost non-existent and we could not lock on to any TV stations for good reception. Also, the park's wireless is dismal. I could not check email for two days, and when we had bad weather moving in we could not pull up TV or weather radar. We went through two bad thunderstorms and a tornado warning and could... Read More

We went through two bad thunderstorms and a tornado warning and could not monitor the weather on TV, computer or cell phone. Only 1 bar, if you were lucky, for US Cellular. Not sure about other providers. We won't be going back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed some supplies and they gave us the spots and directions to go get them. Facility is clean, spacious and has an awesome view of the lake. Will definitely go back again!
The park is right on the lake. When the weather's nice, you get to see a pretty sunset. The sites are gravel and reasonably level. The restrooms and showers were fine. They had just repaired the plumbing because it hadn't been properly winterized.
We arrived after the office closed (7:15 pm) and drove to our reserved and assigned parking space. Upon disconnecting the RV someone drove up on a golf cart. He was rude at first but we worked it out after I told him who we were and we had a reservation. The RV space was not large enough for our RV and I could not hook up the sewer hose. The RV would have been in the road even after using a 20' hose. This is an old RV park and needs a major update...
We had a great stay at Cedar Oaks. The park is very clean, quiet and relaxing. The owners were very pleasant and made sure that we had everything that we could possibly need. They came around frequently to see that everyone was doing ok. The bathrooms were also very clean.
Many sites are too small. Some sites are a reasonable size but many you can't even open the awning because the neighbor is too close. Neighbor's sewer, water and electricity are in your front yard, but there is really no front yard. The view you have is of other RV's. Very few spots have a view of the lake.
