Very nice park with friendly service. Our very first rv'ing trip and the first park we stayed at. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.
The rest rooms were immaculate, and the owner was very personable and helpful! We are staying again on the round trip.
not exactly "mountain view" you have to hold your head just right to see any thing that resembles a mountain. at least the high walls blocked out some of the highway noise. sites weren't too bad as far as level. No picnic tables at sites. one set of showers in the middle of the grounds. lots of seasonal people (some permanent folks too) only had to stay for one night. if you need to stop and get off the road its an option but if you want to stay longer than that keep looking.
We've stayed at Mountain View RV Park in Boise 5 times over the past 4 years. First the pros: convenient, it's right off the freeway close to BSU, hospitals, and downtown Boise. Friendly helpful staff, clean and well maintained, all sites are 50 amp and very reasonably priced (~$35.00/night w/Good Sam). We didn't use the showers or restrooms so can't comment on them. The sites are level asphalt with trees around nearly all sites. The cons: close to freeway and east end of airport = very noisey.... Read More

The cons: close to freeway and east end of airport = very noisey. Tight park, just a patch of grass between sites with narrow access roads. The last 2 times we stayed there the WiFi was nearly unusable. It's advertised as "high speed" but I had problems getting any web pages to load and it's a free trial with very limited time/data. The WiFi is a recent change and not better than what was previously offered. The dog walk area is across the road in an area of mostly stickers and weeds. About half of the sites are occupied by long term campers, but all of the rigs are in good condition.
We have family in Boise and have stayed at all of the RV parks near town. If you are looking for something close to BSU and downtown Boise and don't mind freeway and airport noise this place is great. If the location is not a priority for your stay I think there are better places that are the same price and much quieter and more scenic.

Nice and clean park. no issues
Nice little RV park with a great location in Boise. The park is right off the freeway which gives easy access to the greater Boise area. The sites in the park are asphalt with a small grass area between each site. The sites are long enough for a full size RV and tow vehicle. The park has a small bathroom and shower area, laundry room and they offer working wifi. See our full review and pictures at www.thegilliamsisland.com
The park is very convenient to downtown and other facilities. The staff is very friendly and somewhat helpful. We asked for a picnic table but no one was available to get one for us. (they have a few you can take to your site but they are very heavy so we ended up opting out). The park itself is very clean and well maintained. There are a lot of trees and well shaded. (they have a few you can take to your site but they are very heavy so we ended up opting out). The park itself is very clean and well maintained. There are a lot of trees and well shaded. It is right off the interstate and very close to the airport so it is very noisy. The sites are cramped together so you get up close and personal with your neighbor. The laundry facility is clean and spacious. I did not use the restroom or showers so can't give a review on that. There are no trash receptacles near your site...you have to walk from one end of the park to the other and use the large dumpster...and if you are short like me it is hard to lift the lid and trash bag to dispose. If you are handicapped this can be a problem. They advertise a pet walk but it is not really one. It is a vacant lot across from the park and the grass and weeds are overgrown. So, not accessible to our small dog.

The folks running the campground are very friendly. The bathrooms and laundry room are kept very clean and the landscaping is nicely maintained. The wifi was great and we were able to use our Fire TV to watch movies. It was a good location and value!
As a full-time RV'er, Mountain View is an excellent park. It is close to the freeway, but the noise is negligible. The sites are all pull-thru, and the park is able to accommodate large RVs and coaches. Management is friendly and helpful. Restrooms and laundry are always kept clean.
This park is okay, but I doubt I'll go back. It sandwiched between the highway and the Boise Airport. It makes it convenient to a lot of places, but it is noisy. The sites are very close together, they are paved and level..but no picnic table, just a small piece of grass between sites. The owner was friendly and helpful. The WiFi is marginal...
