We stayed for 2 months. For last mintue they worked will us and very accommodating. Had an amazing time, and the RV resort set a new standard for all other campgrounds. It was very well maintained, friendly staff, very clean restrooms, and lots of activities. You get large rv spots and great facilities. We will be back and wish we could of stayed.
This was our second stay, and it was wonderful. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. We could not rate Facility or Restroom because we did not use them, but the park is fantastic. It is a very clean park, with well maintained sites that are very level. The hookups are very well placed and organized, although we've only used 30 amp. The pull thru sites are a little narrow so definitely not for the those who like a "yard," but very generous on space and shaded by trees. We did a back in this time... Read More

The pull thru sites are a little narrow so definitely not for the those who like a "yard," but very generous on space and shaded by trees. We did a back in this time and it was almost 60 feet wide! Not all back ins are this size, but a good chunk are. They have a several dog areas, but the largest is fenced in so you can let dogs run off the leash. Despite being on the main rode in Elephant Butte, there is literally no traffic nose. And there are plenty of path for walking around the park or towards Elephant Butte State Park. It's location is perfect.
To be fair, there were a few negatives. Wifi was spotty and the best spots were occupied by trailers that were empty the entire time. And not the park's fault but it is literally an Oasis in the desert. If you are not going to the lake, or not chilling at your site you are limited on what you can do. Covid didn't help because several trails that run through smaller state parks were not open.
I would totally go back again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

This RV "resort" is over priced for a night's stay with snobish staff. It is large, well kept, and up scale, intended for campers who want to stay a week, month or forever. The park charges for a box to receive cable channels, but because we arrived late after the office closed (5:30pm) we were not given one, although we were changed for one. The site had rows of trees on either side of the site and did not allow the slides on our 34' to extend without scraping. Will never stay at this facility,... Read More

Hi Drcountry, Thank you for taking time to write this review. I would like to mention that we do not charge for cable boxes and you were not charged. Again, thank you for your review.
We had planned to stay at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort one week. But the monthly rate was such a bargain that we committed for a month. We ended up almost three months from November through January. We have stayed in many parks from Alaska, Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona. This is without doubt the best park we have stayed in. I can't say enough positive about the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The park has wide paved roads, level gravel spaces. There are... Read More

I can't say enough positive about the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The park has wide paved roads, level gravel spaces. There are long pull-through spaces for folks just spending the night without unhooking. There three very reliable Wi-Fi routers. The indoor pool was my favorite feature. It was always WARM and clean. The restrooms and laundry were always spotless. The activities calendar is very full and well attended.
This is the most truly "Dog Friendly" park we have stayed in. They even have a fancy dog wash and several fenced off leash exercise areas.
We would recommend this park to any RV traveler looking for a well maintained, clean, friendly place to stay. It is only four miles off I-25, two hours south of Albuquerque. We will go out of our way to stay here anytime we are in New Mexico.

We stayed for two nights in late September. The facility is first class, friendly staff. All sites are gravel. The indoor pool, hot tub facility is new and very nice. The overnight sites are a 100 yard walk from restrooms and all closer sites are long term residents. We would stay here again.
Hi Mr. Gibsons, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review of our Resort. We are pleased that you had a good stay and hope to see you again soon. Liz
One of the best parks we have used. First time was an overnight stop - park answered phone promptly and reserved a space in the pull through section. Reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming .We were given very clear and helpful instruction on how to proceed if we arrived after the office closed - reduced the stress for us ! On arrival extremely easy to pull into flat well landscaped pull through - clearly marked. Set up was easy , interior roads are all paved , parking spot was gravel.... Read More

On arrival extremely easy to pull into flat well landscaped pull through - clearly marked. Set up was easy , interior roads are all paved , parking spot was gravel. Excellent hookups . Park "helpers" came to help us park and oriented us to the facilities. Bathrooms - WONDERFUL - all parks should be like these , very well arranged and most areas of the park are only a short distance from a bathroom facility. Wifi was just being tweaked when we arrived - excellent system , strong signal, fast enough. The facilities include an indoor swimming pool , small but useable Pickleball court , BBQ areas and shaded sitting or dinning spots. The only reason we do not give it 5 stars for appeal is lack of scenic view !! Directly opposite park is hotel with bar / restaurant if you don't feel like cooking - we used park on return leg of our trip and the restaurant was a welcome alternative for a change. This park I have recommended to friends and if we are in the area again likely we would stay for a period of time.

Hi Ian, I apologize for taking this long to respond to your wonderful review. We have just obtained access to the Good Sam Club review section. We wanted to make sure that you know how appreciative we are for you taking the time to write this review . Our staff works very hard to make your stay with us an experience and not just an overnight place to park. We certainly hope to see you again in the future. Thank you, Liz
