This rv park is excellent. We have stayed here many times over the last 8 years. Always get a good site. Sometimes when very busy we’ve had to move from site to site. Yes there are many full time RVs here but they are mostly on the south side by I90 highway. Getting a site on the east side of the north part is the best. Further away from Greensferry Drive and Mullan Ave. Most spots are shaded. Restrooms are very clean and are cleaned every day. We’ve been always happy when staying here. Read More

Do not believe the Good Sam 9.5 rating for this place. It is like a giant parking lot with mostly long term or permanent residents. According to other reviewers, the restrooms may be clean, but the RV park itself is not clean. We have a 41 foot class A motorhome and a 17 foot towed vehicle. Because this RV park is an older one, many of the roads are very narrow and the turns are way too tight for larger Class A motorhomes even with the towed vehicle removed. We were gong to accept the below average conditions of the RV park until we saw our site which was site 115. As we pulled into the site, I noticed partially dried 6 foot wide puddle of raw sewage. I returned to the office and requested an alternate site. I was told that the 6 unoccupied sites in the immediate area were taken and no other site was available. I requested, and received, a refund. The sewage spill could have been caused by a problem with the RV park's sewage system or it could have been caused by a careless RV'er. Either way, the sewage spill should have been cleaned up before the next RV'er was assigned to the site.

After reading a lot of the reviews, I began to think I had reservations at a dump. However, that is not the case. Nice, clean building and orderly check-in. Sure the sites are close, but we had a large grassy area behind us.. All hook-ups worked fine. Park is well maintained and while it isn't too difficult to pick out the long term residents (by plants and hanging baskets), I didn't have any problem with them . The park is quiet except for traffic noise, but even that calms down at night.... Read More

I would definitely stay here again, and probably will, as we have family in the area. We stayed 4 nights so we could see family, kayak and ride bikes.

The park appears to have once been a really nice resort but the term resort no longer fits. The park is mostly permanent residents. The restrooms are nice, and the hookups work but the area is surrounded by traffic and the ever constant beeping of crosswalk signals. This is a place for an inexpensive overnight stop but I would not use this as a gateway to the area.
What a disappointment. Next to a car dealership. 180 plus sites most (85%) were long term and not well maintained. Whole park needed some TLC. Will not stay there again. Safe travels
The park is getting "aged" and is loading up with "extended stay" residents that have deteriorated the ambiance of the park. The north side of the park (away from main highway) is a little better with level cement pads, good service connections and satellite reception in most spots. Indoor pool and spa is OK. Staff was friendly. Close to shopping and sight-seeing in the area. Big grassy areas throughout the north side of the park. Overall, just an OK place to park the rig and tour the surrounding... The pictures on their web site are very deceiving. The lovely view of the lake is only available after climbing the hill for several stories. The park itself is old, run down and not well maintained. One major issue is that it's built on a hillside. If you have any weight to your rig at all, it's very tough to even get up the hill to your site. Secondly, all the sewer connections were put in years ago, apparently when the had a lot more rock at the sites. Now the sewer connections are extremely... Read More

Secondly, all the sewer connections were put in years ago, apparently when the had a lot more rock at the sites. Now the sewer connections are extremely high relative to the camper so we had a incline up to the sewer. Of course this prevented good drainage and was very problematic all week. The staff was the opposite of helpful and courteous. Because of the sewer height, we had a spill trying to milk the sewer hose. Rather than helping us, staff skulked around spying on us using their walkie talkies to badmouth us. All told, a very unpleasant experience. The town itself is beautiful and well worth a visit.

If you could do minus stars, this campground would be one to receive that rating. Falling apart, rotten wood steps & big squares of concrete with space in between to cause falls, trips or safety concerns. I'm disappointed the photos don't seem to be of the place and as for a destination campground, you will be sorely disappointed. I understand they may working on it, but it should be shown as it really is so you can make your decision whether to stay or not...I say not. None of the ratings are accurate. Read More

You will enjoy staying here as long as your expectations are low. A high point is full hookups with wifi and cable tv. However, wifi is spotty at best. Don't expect much. Cable TV worked fine. This is a parking lot atmosphere. Sites are gravel with concrete patio. All are very close together, so don't expect ANY privacy. Plan on doing your laundry at another location as you will have to tap into your budget to pay the steep fees. Lots of rules, but if you don't want more than a one-night-stand,... Read More

Very nice park, friendly staff. Would certainly stay here again. Easy in and out. Clean level sites.
This resort was rated 9.5 by Good Sam, not accurate. Internet never worked at our site only in the office. Staff while friendly and helpful very unprofessional in appearance. Much of the park has full timers with very untidy , messy sites with clothes hanging on truck mirrors , fridges and other appliances on the sites. Way too many cars and work trucks blocking the roads. We expected more of a RV's resort not the trailer park feel. Back fence completely unsecured , wide open to a busy street.... Read More

Back fence completely unsecured , wide open to a busy street. We were uneasy with that lack of safety to close to our trailer.
We did enjoy the location of the park and with some repair and infrastructure work this good be a great place.
Feels old and rundown. Rules and regulations need to be enforced to improve enjoyment of this park.

We stayed here two nights (one going to Portland and one coming back). Staff was friendly. The showers were very nice and clean. The park was well lit and seemed quite organized. There were community spaces, although we did not use these. There seemed to be lots to do, although we were just passing through.
Nice place to stay if you want to be between Spokane Washington and Couer D' Alane. Idaho. Gravel sites but mostly level concrete area with picnic table. that is where I parked my truck and still room for the table. Hookups are easy with lots of cable channels. laundry was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry and they both worked great. The bathrooms were clean and nicely painted. They were also very clean. I would stay there again if in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
This park is the model of what every rv park should be. We called while on the road and needed a place to stay overnight. The office staff was kind enough to get us a 45 foot pull through spot at such short notice. This park is pricey. We paid $47.95 for three adults. But the park has a wonderful heated pool, hot tub, is close to everything and happily there were no dogs anywhere in the park. The clubhouse is as nice as a 5 star hotel. Prices not posted on site. Staff blamed owners for price and website not being updated. Wi-Fi never worked. Lots of monthly renters with messy areas. Close to freeway that was noisy. Will not stay there again.
We picked this cause of its 9/9/9 rating.... I think this should be re-graded - camping in Walmart would of been safer, doesn't feel like home at all. Lots of big dogs left tied up everywhere, even seen a dog fight - not safe for young kids.
They are extremely unprofessional and one of the workers was hanging out with her husband in the clubhouse and her kids were running wild making so much noise we couldn't talk The wifi is a joke the signal is so weak you can barely get on the Internet. They told us they would refund our deposit the day we checked out but they didn't. 3 weeks later I called to find out what happened and ***FOR THE FIRST TIME they informed me it would take 3 WEEKS to get our deposit back!!!*** It was the worst... It was the worst experience I've ever had at an RV park. Don't stay here unless you want to lose your money while you're on vacation

Well, the photos on their web site are old because all of the facility buildings and equipment are dilapidated and look nothing like the pictures on the web site, the pool and the hot tubs are dirty and need to be re-plastered and are not well maintained. The windows in the poolhouse are so dirty that you can't see outside of them. I vacated my RV space two months ago and I still haven't had my security deposit returned to me
Excellent rv park but starting to fill with too many permanent all year campers. Also it has a little too much road noise from I-90 and local roads. Park is well kept and restrooms are clean. Pool area is nice but is showing its age and so does the exercise room.
Very crowded with permanent campground residents. Small sites and limited privacy.
With GS discount charged over $46 for a back-in 30 amp site. Was told at check-in that prices had gone up from the listed Good Sam Guide. A couple hours later noticed a lower price posted on the office door. Told that there is a $3 per dog per night charge which they have had for 14 years- never told this at check-in and GS guide does not list this either. We were told they charge this to pay people to clean up. The spaces are narrow- not more than a foot wider than motor home. The grass where we... Read More

When asked told that the grass grows fast this time of year. WiFi is unusable. The network access name does not always appear as available and then if it does the connection to the internet is slow and unreliable. Cannot imagine how this campground is rated as high as it is. We will not return. At the prices they charge for a small 30 amp site without a reliable wifi system, this is certainly NOT a RV resort.

I can't say enough good about this place! It's everything an RV park should be. Even with the place full, it didn't feel cramped. They have a fenced dog run so our dogs could be off leash. Big bonus!! The sites are wide and long. We have a 40' 5th wheel trailer and tow w/ a 1 ton long-bed pickup. There was plenty of room to park in front or behind the trailer. We would definitely stay here again!
Overall it's a very nice park to stay in. However, the play ground is in need of many repairs. Loose screws and nails on the climbing structure made it very hazardous for kids to play on.
