We were not provided a map of the campground and the layout was extremely confusing as we arrived after dark. We had no clue where the camp host was at. When we left in the morning there was a board with a map. It was not lit and we were unable to find this in the dark. The sites were not level and had a large incline. The placement of the hook ups for the water, electricity, and water were very poor. I was unable to attach the water to my trailer. It rained during the night and the gravel campsite... Read More

As mentioned, the park is not easy to find, It is close to the highway but needs better signage. Park was mostly empty and it seemed as those here were long term campers where we were on our way through. Restrooms were clean, but dated. The campsite has a nice layout but needs more care to clean it up. If it were better maintained and cleaned would get a better rating. Likely fine for just visiting the University, otherwise I would not plan on staying more than a night and likely would find... Read More

Have to say that the internet and cable service
are very good, which I can not say for many Parks we visit.

Extremely nice staff and very convenient from the interstate however, called to make reservations to ensure that they could accommodate a 45ft coach towing. Was told "no problem". When we arrived the woman looked out the door at our rig and had the look of doubt on her face. I was told that we would have to drive down a steep hill, then around the office building, then into our site. The woman said, "I'll take you in the golf cart and show you". I told her "no, you can take my husband and show him,... Read More

I told her "no, you can take my husband and show him, as he is not going to be happy about that ." When my husband talked to her she offered a refund. My husband assessed the situation and decided that he could make it into the site without going down the hill and around the building. We made it into our site and had a quiet night. When leaving in the morning, my husband decided the easiest way was to go out the way that we would have used to get into the site. Wasn't as bad as it looked or as bad as we anticipated. It was good for a night but we will not stay again due to the size of our rig and the terrain. Seems that it would be a great place to stay if you don't have a 45ft rig. We didn't use the restrooms, so can't rate them.

NIce facility. Roads are a little tight if you have a long rig, but manageable. The signage is not visible till after you pass the entrance. There is a easy turnaround shortly after the campground.
We stayed at Auburn RV Park for 4 nights. We enjoyed visiting our boys at Auburn University. The Campground was full and the staff was nice, Not many trees or activities.
No one there on weekend. Only contact is by phone. Pretty sights by creek.
I would not recommend this park for Handicapped individuals or anyone with a fear of heights. We were placed on the bluff with a steep 100 ft drop off at our side door. I could not go outside at all during our stay. The slop was too severe for me to walk, plus the parking area is loose shells. Not a good place for someone who is as unstable as I am. Could not use my walker outside because it would jot roll in shells. Even the picnic table was on the slop. Couldn't use it.
Very nice staff & convenient location - next to I-85 & College St. Lots of services / shopping / eating options as you go north on College St toward University. Yes, I drove right by it looking for the entrance which is actually just after the gas station & hotel just as you make right (turning south) off I-85 N # 51 exit ramp. Gravel sites, winding roads thru park including various levels which breaks it up & helps appeal. Not a huge park which I like but stay was fine.
Hard to find at first. Too easy to miss the entrance! They need a bigger sign! Nice park! Attendants are very helpful! Not too easy to maneuver around. We had a pull thru and decided it was better to unhook the toad rather than attempt to "pull thru". Still, it was a relaxing break in our journey.
