Stayed at Helena KOA North for 5 nights, a very solid park. The staff were very courteous and professional with a quick check in process. The park is convenient to the highway but being a couple of miles off, no road noise. The park is small and the sites are a little close but was able to extend slides and awning with no problems. The gravel sites are generally level and they have a nice grassy area in between sites. If you have a dog, they have a very large dog park that is split into 2 sections.... Read More

There is also a nice walking path out the back gate near an irrigation canal. The utilities were good as was the laundry and bathrooms. As noted by other reviewers, you get a voucher code for one device on the the WiFi. Totally understand to keep the traffic on the network manageable and because of that, always had a decent connection. Also have access to 15 over the air digital channels. The longer term resident sites are well kept. As a newer KOA, it is a work in progress with the development of an activities area with games and a pavilion. One note of caution is the water post is 3 feet high and you may have some issues when opening the driver’s side slide out. Would rate this park a 4.2 and would consider staying here again in the future.

This is an older park just converted to a KOA. Sites are tight for a Class A motorhome, sewer connections are toward end of site making their pull thrus tough to negotiate with a towed vehicle and still be able to reach sewer without a super long hose. Most importantly, the concrete slabs for picnic tables are virtuallyon top of your neighbors connections and too close to sewer---yuck! Poorly designed park. Desk folks nice, restrooms clean but more negatives than positives about this park.
Have stayed in this park several times previous to this last stay. Surprised upon arrival to find that it is now a KOA operated park. Not informed of same when making reservation, I don't usually stay at KOA facilities because of their pricing. I was booked so I stayed 5 days. The good news is that the park is a work in progress with thus far favorable results. Entry and park roads are dirt and some gravel. The gravel level sites with grass areas between sites are now clean and green. A... Read More

Maintenance is obvious whereas before it appeared limited Located approximately 6 miles outside Helena, the park is accessible to the town with shops, restaurants and activities. If they control their future pricing, might be worth returning.

Very nice park. Spacious pull through sites, no trouble getting in/out or level. All gravel. Not crazy about the speed ditches (versus speed bumps). The roads to and from Alaska were horrible and you don't want campgrounds which intentionally destroy smooth road surfaces after traveling all day on pot holed and frost heaved roads. Please get rid of the speed bumps or speed ditches. Otherwise, the APPEAL rating would be at least a 4 star.
Stayed here one night, the RV Park is not as good as it use to be. The sites are very close and as they indicated internet is not that great. Would look at another RV spot next time.
Nothing fancy, large gravel sites with some grassy area. Slab with picnic table. 5 miles north of Helena so a Very Quiet place. Very minimal road noise, actually none compared to most.
Stayed 2 nights, nice park, just not real fancy, all gravel roads and sites, with lots of grass between sites. Plenty of room for 40' 5th wheel with 3 slides. Only problem is the limited hours of the office, closes at noon, I would think they should be open the afternoon and closed in the morning.. maybe just me?? The grass was in bad need of being cut. Water pressure in the shower wasn't very good and took a long time to get warm. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a very nice campground. Campground was full but very clean. Restrooms were clean with lots of hot water. Laundry was nice. Only here one night. We would stay hear again.
