We stayed 1 night while traveling through the area twice during about a 3-month period. The first visit was on a holiday so the office was closed. But all the necessary paperwork was waiting for us with an offer of an escort to the site if wanted. The second stay an escort was provided to the site. The park is a short drive from I-10 (Exit 31 – US HWY 60) along the secondary highway. The road between I-10 and US HWY 60 at Exit 45 is rough so recommend using Exit 31 to access the park. The... The park is a short drive from I-10 (Exit 31 – US HWY 60) along the secondary highway. The road between I-10 and US HWY 60 at Exit 45 is rough so recommend using Exit 31 to access the park. The office is located near the entrance of the park with designated registration parking.
The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV’s for an experienced driver. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and pull throughs. Most of the sites appear to be extended stay sites. The short stay sites (generally B20 to B35) are P/T. The parking surface is rock. They are long enough to stay connected to a toad. The entire park was built on a slope but there appeared to be no effort to tier the sites level. There was a slope pitch of about 3” over the width of the site.
Distance established privacy between the sites – not much distance when short stay sites are full. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer about mid-way down the site near the utility post. The sewer connection was at the ground but depending on site assignment and discharge point may have an uphill flow. Garbage collection was daily at site curbside. There was an outside table but no fire pits.
Not much in the way of tall landscaping to interfere with satellite reception in the short stay area. Was able to receive DISH programming with a portable dish sitting on the ground. The park information shows 27 cable channels including 4 major networks out of Phoenix. No mention of broadcast channels. OTA scan revealed no broadcast stations but there was a low hill line between the park and the Phoenix area that might have impacted reception.
Used the park provided password protected WiFi to do travel research & check email. It was a little slow but open to all registered guests. Didn’t try our NET10 phone or Winegard AIR 360+ WiFi so don’t know about reception.
There was one designated fenced pet area with a gravel surface located at the front of the park. There was a means for waste disposal in the fenced pet area. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park’s roads with waste collection stations throughout the park.
Didn't use the restroom but review required a rating.

I traveled during the summer so this will be heat related, if you travel during (snow bird season) everything would probably be fantastic but during the summer the heat in the bathrooms are almost intolerable they have NO A/C in the bathrooms and the electronic locks on the doors don't always work. So you may want to avoid them during the summer.
Very nice, but having over 500 spaces and so many ATVs running around almost endlessly there is very little left to recommend. Just awful! The cable tv is 20 year old analog technology. Bring your satellite dish, or prepare for snowy programs. We pre-paid for the whole winter and regret it. We won't be back. Glad we have books!
Stayed here for almost a week and enjoyed our site and the area. Paved roads and large pull thru sites. Nice hiking trail to the hill top to watch the sunrises or sunsets. Peaceful and quiet area, lots of planned activities and everyone was very nice.
Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful view and big pull throughs.
