Came into Butte in May (2021) for a new job. Did not realize the housing the market is so extreme. Very few affordable houses on the market and what is affordable are very run down or in neighborhoods I don't want my family living in. It took the host several months to get a spot to stay. Been camping there since while trying to find something more permanent. There is a seasonal RV park in town, but it is significantly more than here (even though here is significantly more than what we... Read More

There is a seasonal RV park in town, but it is significantly more than here (even though here is significantly more than what we were pay at my last job in Az).
It has been a good stay thus far. Everyone we have met have been great. Several are in the same situation we are in - trying to find something affordable to buy. It has been fun, we all have our stories and experiences...
Laundry is great. Restrooms are keep clean.
Only downside is some lots are less level than others so bring extra boards or blocks to level up and Freeway is right across the road and it sometimes gets noisy. But it usually quiet down around 10 or 11 for the night.

I am on my way back to this camp ground. There was nigher pools, nor rec centers and I don't need them. I enjoyed the quiet, the nice people who run the place and the proximity to downtown Butte, which offers many, many sites to see. I saw zero derelict trailers or homeless people at this campground, Either it's been cleaned up, or someone was mistaken.. There is nothing fancy here, I am not a fancy person, I am a Country Kid and it's a Country Place.
The site we stayed in was not level, cigarette butts were everywhere, litter was everywhere, and because of the lived in derelict trailers I did not feel real safe. This is the worse campground I have ever stayed in and i have camped for years. Price was terrible for what they had to offer. Never will stay there again.
This small-to-medium sized RV park is very convenient to the Interstate and to all services in Butte MT. The office management was very helpful and pleasant, and we saw them going out of their way to help other RVers in the park. Our site had a small tree providing some afternoon shade, though some do not. Navigation in the park is easy, and sites are wide. We had a gravel site with good hookups. The WiFi was excellent as was our Verizon signal. We just stayed one night so did not use the... Read More

First things first, be very careful if you are using a GPS and travelling west, chances are you'll be send way out into the netherland and good luck turning a big rig around. Having said that, simply take Exit 122 off the I90 , turn west as per the map (and the RV directional signage) and you're there in 30 seconds. Easy access from the I90. Unlike other travelers who have reviewed this park, we had a level site, full hook-up, 30 amp service, used the laundry which was good. Access to Butte... Read More

We liked the RV Park, very functional for folks passing through and would recommend it. Overall, I'd say a 3.5

We made reservations 2 months ahead of time and confirmed them 3 days prior to arrival. About 1.5 hours before our early evening arrival we got a call asking if we were still planning to come. We confirmed and were told that our reserved spot would be waiting for us. Upon arrival, we learned that our "reserved spot" was in their overflow area.....not good at all. Apparently having a reservation did not mean a thing. Nothing level about it, hookups were inconveniently located and looked questionable... Read More

Apparently having a reservation did not mean a thing. Nothing level about it, hookups were inconveniently located and looked questionable at best. No grass but plenty of weeds that hadn't been mowed. They were charging $42 a night for it. The entire campground looked very run down and unkept. We obtained a refund and had a good night's stay at WalMart instead. Would not stay here and would not recommend.
