This is a small and uncrowded RV campground that is very convenient to downtown Hendersonville and surrounding communities. It accommodates small to large trailers and motorhomes on gravel sites. We particularly liked the trees providing shade from the sun on hot days. The campground manager, Mr Grizzard, was unusually hospitable and went way above the usual making everyone feel welcome and getting their rigs setup he even set out bottles of Dad's Rootbeer on Fathers Day at campsite picnic tables during our one week stay (altho we don't drink HFCS soda, it was the thought that counts). Showers were clean with good consistent hot water. The semi-urban setting is near plenty of restaurants, supermarket, stores. The only thing we really missed was an off-leash dog run area at the campground. However, we were directed to the off-leash dog park at Hendersonville's public Jackson Park 10-15min drive away if there is a doggy heaven, this is what it looks like...20ac open mowed field, plus 5ac woods with trails, plus a sandy beach alongside a shallow creek for the dogs to splash in.
