The views from this RV site are lovely. The spaces are tight unless you get one of the back-ins at the edges. It was quiet and pleasant for the two nights we stayed here. Our only complaint was the dominant cat that wandered the sites. As we have a cat, there was almost a fight that would have torn out our screen.
We had booked for 4 days and boke down in Bozeman and called ahead to let them know we would be a day late. We arrived late the next evening and the Mrs's was so helpful and nice. We were to leave out after the 3rd night but called and asked to book another night so we could explore the Red Canynon. Then we booked another night. I suggest site B4 back in site. Sunrise to the left and beautiful breathtaking sunsets mainly behind and on the left but over all around you. The private bathroom is... Read More

The whole town was welcoming and so friendly and nice. We met some wonderful people here and just love it. Thank you so much.

To start, the access driveway into this campground is a very steep hill from the main road. You then get to travel around a winding road alongside a cliff. The "pull through" spots are extremely narrow and bordered by trees with low hanging branches. They are not long enough to accommodate an average size motorhome towing a car, making it necessary to unhook. Trying to get into my spot and avoid the low branches was impossible. An overly full and very large and heavy plastic trash receptacle partially... Read More

The "pull through" spots are extremely narrow and bordered by trees with low hanging branches. They are not long enough to accommodate an average size motorhome towing a car, making it necessary to unhook. Trying to get into my spot and avoid the low branches was impossible. An overly full and very large and heavy plastic trash receptacle partially hidden by one of the trees caused damage to the gel coat above my rear wheel. The branches also scraped the top side of my motorhome and my roof as well as my patio awning cover. In 8 years of RV'ing I had never put a mark on any of my motorhomes until this time. To make matters worse, one of the parks policies is you can only wash your windshield while there. If you wash your side windows or anything else they want to charge you an additional $10. If all this isn't bad enough when exiting the park where the very steep driveway meets the road my tow bar rubbed the road and the rubber on my safety cable were abraded. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a campground.

Firstly, we stayed in this campground late August 2017 - I waited too long to write the review and last year wasn't available. Pros: full hookups, large/long fairly level sites, picnic tables at site, GREAT VIEWS, very friendly staff, easy access. Cons: gravel sites, hookups at the entrance to the site, pull-thru sites a bit short for a 50+' rig. General comments: While the hookups were at the entrance to the back-in site, the staff was extremely accommodating by providing extensions for the... Read More

Cons: gravel sites, hookups at the entrance to the site, pull-thru sites a bit short for a 50+' rig.
General comments: While the hookups were at the entrance to the back-in site, the staff was extremely accommodating by providing extensions for the electrical shore line - my 50amp cable was not long enough. The bathrooms were clean and the grounds were well-maintained tho a bit dusty due to the fact that all the sites and the roads were all gravel. While the park is on the edge of town it is within walking distance of nice green space as well as shopping downtown - tho the grocery stores are all on the other side of town. There is an airport with the flight paths directly overhead but that was not a problem. In addition, it is right on the highway but traffic is very light most of the time.
We will stay in this park again and we recommend it to anyone going thru Lander.

We stayed here on the way from Colorado to Cody/Yellowstone and again on the way back because we liked it so much. It is EZ in and EZ out, has super nice folks, very clean & useful shower/restroom combinations. We stayed in a "view" space once and it is a nice, long view out the front window (pull-in), and once in a pull-through, closer to the shower/bathrooms because we all needed freshened up. If you need a rent-a-car to tour the fantastic scenery in the Lander area, hey they are also rent-a-wreck!... Read More

We were taking our grandson to Cody/Yellowstone, but will definitely stay here when we return to see the sinks in that area. We like this RV park. 60+ couple.
