Spacious sites, very well maintained. Great location for day trips to Key West and Marathon. Pricey but worth it for the 3 nights we stayed.
This RV park has been completely re-built since the hurricane. Any reviews from before should be thrown out (we stayed here before the hurricane and had to miss a year while they rebuilt.) The place is beautiful - all sites are good size but the Elite are extra large The pool and club house are very good The grounds have great landscaping The marina is well maintained, has a bait shop, rents water craft The roads are paved, the sites are white gravel They have activities each day - even have a... If you like Encore Resorts then you will like this campground. At first glane, it looks beautiful with large, spacious sites. However, for us, there were some definite drawbacks. For the price we paid, $95 during the week, $114 for the weekend, we think they could have spend a bit more time on picking up some of the litter lying all over the camp. Wherever we walked, there was at least a few pieces of trash, and even more down at the "beach" and the marina. I found that disgusting. The beach... Read More

Wherever we walked, there was at least a few pieces of trash, and even more down at the "beach" and the marina. I found that disgusting. The beach has nice lounge chairs but they never raked the seaweed which was inches thick on the shore line. Also, this campground is located right next to the Overseas HIghway (route 1) through the keys and there is constant traffic noise, even through the night. Although quiet hour starts at 10 PM, on Friday night, there were people partying and talking loudly right outside our unit until well past midnight.
On the upside: Most sites are pull throughs and are wide enough for a large unit, at least one vehicle. Many people had golf carts and canopies on their sites with room to spare for sitting. There was one tree between most sites, however, there was no grass, just stones.
The bathrooms were new and clean. The office staff was very nice and helpful.
The park is centrally located in the Keys. Key West is only an hour and Key Largo (the northern-most key) is only and hour and a half drive.
Our main complaint was the garbage and the high price. If we come to the Keys again, I would make my reservations earlier and stay at one of the State Parks.

We stayed all of February 2017. They put us on a very large lot so we had lots of space for all the toys including the boat. Close to the water with nice beaches. Lots of activities and great pool area. Local lady shows up every Tuesday to sell fresh seafood right in the parking lot at good prices. Just over the bridge from Marathon and North of Big Pine so going out to eat or shopping was not any problem. We are going back for a month this December. They were constantly working on the lots... You'll pay a lot of money for a place that's run-down and not well-maintained. No one checks your site before you arrive. There were concrete blocks with rusted bolts sticking out of them on our site. Otherwise they were content to drive off. There's a hole in the ceiling of the game room that lets water in after a rain. The sewer lines are always breaking. This year they hit a line that put the fresh water in jeopardy. They put out a "Boil water advisory" hours after the break. The people in the office have no idea what "customer service" means. Their usual response is "I don't know." That's ok, but they never offer to find out what you need and follow-up. This year they increased rates 20-50%. About 200 people signed a petition in protest. They eventually rolled back the rates to more moderate increases. We went for a couple of years to give them a chance to make good on their promises to make improvements. But we will not go back. The hassle isn't worth the money they charge.
