Jetty Park Campground at Port Canaveral has so much going for it, but there is currently one downside you need to beware of. The park has great access to the beach. You can walk to at least two eating and drinking venues. You can also watch rocket launches and view the many ships that pass by in the channel right in front of the park. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The park has a large, clean office and store. The downside for me was the construction noise... Read More

The downside for me was the construction noise going on right across the fence from our camping spot. Everyday from around 6am to 4pm the loud noises of construction equipment begins with the constant beeping of backup alarms, heavy equipment rumbling and the chatter of pneumatic tools. This daily onslaught of noise really degraded my overall experience. They appear to be building an enormous cruise boat terminal and I don't see an end to it anytime soon. and our back in site was on grass and not level you will need levelers

We stayed four days and three nights. The site was average but backing into the slot would be a major challenge for a newbie driver. Our site did have shade. However, most sites were in direct sunlight. Lighting at night was almost none. The facilities were clean but,due to the low ceilings very poor air movement making them into a sauna. Access to the beach was great. However, they didn't mention that the reentry gate was a different code (they didn't give us that code). Luckily there were... Read More

Luckily there were a group of small children who gladly gave out the code. So much for security. We would return knowing that the place is ok for a weekend. It should also be mentioned they do allow long term stays. Positive side...... good water, electric, and sewer hookups. The big draw....... Good access to the beach.

Great place, ships passing right by, fishing pier, beach. Good clean restrooms, showers. Pets must stay in campground, not allowed on beach facilities. But plenty of walking in campground. Excellent beach place, but very sandy. Its the beach. Definitely recommend and will return. Fun beach place.
