We had a FABULOUS stay at Chokoloskee Island Park & Marina. We arrived after hours on a Sunday and they had everything organized for our arrival. When we arrived at our unit the lights were on which I was incredibly thankful for because it was so late. The unit was clean and actually pretty adorable! The next morning we got up and headed out for our fishing charter that was arranged by the park. We had a GREAT TIME! We caught our limit! They were so nice and accomodating. All the other guests in the park were so friendly. We had a great time meeting new friends and hanging out. We went kayaking several times! Also, the park is very close to the Everglades National Park. Lots of hiking and sight-seeing there. This place is a great spot if you are looking for a quiet, "old Florida" getaway. We will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time here! We stayed in the Sheepshead, Unit 10 and it was beautifully decorated and quiet. We booked a fishing charter thru the office (the staff is great) while we were there and we loved every second of it! We hung out at their Liar's Bench and enjoyed watching the sunsets. We will definitely be back!
We wanted a relaxing old Florida feel and we found it! Chokoloskee was a complete hidden gem. The sunsets are spectacular along with the stargazing, but the FISHING was out of the world. Cell service is hit or miss, but we were happy to disconnect for a bit. The rec hall has a full kitchen if you want to cook with an oven or if you are a tenter and need to store some cold items. The staff is super friendly! We had two dogs that we camped with and did not have any problems. We are definitely coming... Read More

I already told my father who is an avid fisherman and loves camping. Also, if you don't camp they have rental units available as well.
