Entrance is on Hwy. 98 and traffice goes flying by. Limits opportunity to explore on bicycle and waterfront is on the wrong side of the highway, scary if you have kids.
The takeaway: Coastline RV Resort provides sunset views of Apalachicola Bay, a clubhouse with all amenities along with a pool, and access to their own pier on the Bay. A pleasant rv park, not a resort unless we include their restaurant 1 mile west, and well maintained with acceptable WiFi. A unique on-line reservation system allows the guest to pick and reserve a particular site. . The takeaway: A pleasant rv park, not a resort, well maintained with acceptable WiFi. Wide gravel streets, views of Apalachicola Bay, clubhouse with all amenities along with a pool and access to their own pier on the Bay (still damaged at time of our visit from hurricane Michael), and beautiful sunsets over Apalachicola Bay. A unique on-line reservation system allows the guest to pick and reserve a particular site. Stayed April 2019. For a more detailed critique go to www.rickpicks.com
This is an actual resort looking RV resort. Very new and clean. Nice office, pool and clubhouse. Sites are very large and clean gravel, with brick paver patios and tables. Nice green grass space in between. Plenty of room for slides and awnings. Large place to park built in to site design. Location is across highway 98 from coast, as there isn't much "beach" and water can get a little lumpy with the onshore breeze. Coastline RV has two sites about 500 yards apart. The "Resort" which is... Read More

The "Resort" which is where we stayed, with pool and paver sites, and the "Campground" which is basic, gravel and grass without the frills.
Very conscientious and efficient staff, both in office and groundskeepers. When we made rezo (Memorial Day Weekend) they could not accommodate us beyond Friday. Packed with weekend campers. During check-in, I asked to be put on waiting list for cancellations and was #15 on list. Very rainy forecast apparently changed a lot of plans, and staff called and offered us a spot for weekend. Initially we were in #30 which is all the way in the back of the park. Pretty quiet and private but no real view. We were then moved to site #1, a back-in on the front row next to the entrance. Awesome view out the rear window of the gulf (actually the Apalachacola Bay). Downside is the road noise from Hwy 98 which was loud.
We rode our bikes into East Point for taco-Tuesday to the only Mexican restaurant for miles, El Jalisco. Not much to look at from the outside, but nice d,cor inside and a large menu. 2 for 1 margaritas and basic nothing to write about food. Closest medium grocery is the Piggly Wiggly in Apalachicola, a town with a nice waterfront and quite a few more restaurants. Took a day trip into Carabelle, where we saw the worlds smallest police station (a phone booth) and the WW2 museum, highlighting Camp Gordon Johnston where they trained amphibious landing forces. Another bike ride into East Point to the Red Pirate, a funky fish joint where we had rum and played a round of mini-golf.

Stayed 2 wks, people very friendly, clean and very nicely kept. Couple of issues/concerns. I was told they had a Dog Park for off-leash and they didn't, was planning to build it. We needed it. Didn't have a good walking area to accommodate dogs since they didn't have the off-leash area. Layout keeps anyone in the back sites from being able to see the Gulf. Had hoped to at least have a view for the morning sunrise. Second issue was their WiFi. It continually disconnected/spooled when trying... Read More

Apparently they were doing many upgrades, so timing was bad. Anyone needing/wanting to stay connected would have major problems.

What a great RV Park! Nicest bathrooms we have ever encountered. The RV sites are paved, level and situated apart from one another offering a reasonable amount of privacy. Walk across the highway and you are on the water of the Gulf of Mexico. Overall, a delightful place to stay!
We stayed a month. Great area for relaxation, great seafood, and southern charm. The park and employees are great. Close to the beach on St. George Island and loved visiting Apalachacola and all it's neat little stores and hometown eateries. We call it a cross between New Orleans, Key West and Mayberry. We will absolutely go back to Coastline. Pristine facilities, friendly staff, and still working to make it even better.
My husband and I are new RV'ers and came here on our first official trip - afraid we are forever spoiled! Excellent assistance by the staff. Manicured setting with pool. Beautiful coastal views. Well maintained common areas.
A super nice 10+ campground. They do not come much better.
