GREAT STAY. We enjoyed a premium site and it was perfect! We enjoyed trivia night at the cafe and the store was one of the best we've seen. Everything was top quality and the location was perfect for day trips to attractions. The staff was really nice. We would definitely stay here again.
Won’t stop again. Packed in like sardines and way overpriced with discount. Roads and sites are very, very tight. Again Good Sam’s ratings are over inflated.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE ! First, when I pulled in, the place was packed. No one to greet you in the goon box or tell you where the office is located. So, we pull in and double park across from what appears to be a restaurant/bar. I asked a waitress in the outside bar area where the office was located. She pointed to a door, so I walked in. The lady at the counter did not have a clue about anything. Believe me, I feel sorry for older individuals who have to work, also realize that there... Read More

Believe me, I feel sorry for older individuals who have to work, also realize that there are many new individuals in the workforce. She found our reservation, showed me a map and circled several sites all of which were not the correct one. Someone beside her said it's right next to the restaurant. I asked if it was a pull thru, she had a blank look in her face, never answered, so I asked if I'm needed to unhook the toad right where I was located. Again, a blank look with an "I guess so"
So, we unhooked and proceeded to the site. There were 3 vehicles parked on the site that I just paid for. One was a service van, so I told the guy that I was sorry, but he was in my spot. He said ok, just let me unload. So, I walked back in to the not clearly marked "office " and told the lady that there were 3 vehicles parked in my site. She said "it's probably the restaurant, just go over there and tell them". I said, you want ME to tell them that their patrons are in my spot ? Another lady spoke up and told the other lady to go over and ask them to move the vehicles.
So, after the vehicles moved the site is only about 20 feet deep and the front of the Coach would stick out in the roadway. So, I pulled in lengthwise. We hooked up, ran the sides out and decided we would go somewhere for dinner rather than cook. As we were leaving a French Canadian woman was waving her hands at me so I went over to see what was wrong ? She started complaining that I was 2-3 feet over on her site and we moved her picnic table and now due to Covid she had to disinfect it. I patiently explained to her that no one at the desk had a clue or told me anything. I also told her that there was a concrete walk way if I did not pull up I would have blocked it. She then told me that I should have parked lengthwise, to which I explained to her that I would stick out in the roadway OR I could back in further, but I would be in their grass, which many campgrounds will not tolerate. I explained to her that I really did not want to move it because the slide was out, jacks down & level and we were all hooked up. I told her that we would be out first thing next morning and she said she would ask her husband. (Obviously, he must have not been able to speak because he sent her back out and said it was ok for just the one night. ) So, this is a Good Sam Campground ?
As an update .... when we came back from dinner a big F250 was parked on my site. I took a photo and will include that along with a request for a partial refund since I had to share my site with the restaurant parking most of our one night stay. Never again !
Amenities : No cable, OTA TV nonexistent, WiFi was a joke. Used nothing else, just one night, left at 7:30 AM due to the nasty French lady as noted above and the incompetent staff. Did not sleep because all the vehicles using our site for their restaurant parking area banging car doors and activity.

Roadrunner RV Resort is a large campground, located a few miles inland in Fort Pierce. My experience has shown that most RV parks are located adjacent to an active railroad, an Interstate, an airport of a combination of all 3. This one is next door to the busy St Lucie County Airport. Take-offs and landing occur frequently and at all hours. The facility is well managed and the grounds well maintained. The staff does their best with check-ins, tho the office gets busy, especially during snowbird... Read More

Speaking of snowbirds Roadrunner must advertise in Quebec. I'd estimate that, during the winter months, 90% of the park is French speaking Canadian. They literally take over the place and are pretty insular.
After mid-April, they flee back north and the campground is quiet and sparsely occupied, mostly with permanent residents.
The bathrooms are kept clean, but can get messy in a hurry when the park is full. They have a multi-use room, which hosts meetings and events. There is a small diner on site that serves decent meals. A pitch and put golf course and a well stocked general store.
Overall a very nice park, with two very distinct personalities, depending on when you stay.

Large mostly wooded sites, full service store, and nice restaurant make this a desirable location for visiting the Fort Pierce area. We did not find an abundance of activities in the park but there is much to do in the area. There were several nights with entertainment at the restaurant/club house area.
This park appears to be a favourite of French Canadians, as the majority of the campers were from Quebec. Pool is small and needs to be refinished. there is no cable for short stays, over the air TV is minimal and trees block satellite. Also, despite advertising that there is wifi through the park..there is not. will not return
We were very disappointed with this resort after seeing good reviews. The weather was very rainy so we understand that the grounds would be wet, but there must be a drainage problem. There was standing water behind our rig for the entire stay, and the site was so wet and muddy we never sat outside. When we booked the stay we were told there was no cable but there was wifi. We were also told we could store our RV for one week after our stay while we went on a cruise, and we didn't have to make a... Read More

There was standing water behind our rig for the entire stay, and the site was so wet and muddy we never sat outside. When we booked the stay we were told there was no cable but there was wifi. We were also told we could store our RV for one week after our stay while we went on a cruise, and we didn't have to make a formal reservation because there was always room. My husband arrived first and checked in, I arrived shortly after and asked for the wifi code. I was told there was no longer any wifi at the site! We were told we could sit on the porch outside the office for wifi, again the weather was cold and. rainy! They also said there was no room to store our RV even after I explained we had been promised when we booked! Our tv antenna didn't get any major networks, when we asked about it at the office we were told we needed to pay for cable. The staff was not helpful at all. We will not return to this campground.

Campgrounds were clean a lot of people have dogs as we do but no dog park also no Cable except for long stay by independent supplier Internet was bad unless you set at office.staff was for the most part nice except 1 lady who was there 15 years very confrontational . We had a site at Lake but seen some sites close together
This is a very busy Park, with friendly, helpful staff. Laundry facilities are very good and kept very clean. There is no cable available for less than a month's stay (independent provider). Also, there are lots of trees that cause interference with satellite systems. There are alot of things to do for entertainment.
Grass at site was not cut. Could not use TV antenna due to interference. Expensive cable connection is extra. Store and restaurant appear larger on website than they actually are. Pool area is small and they sell pool memberships to local residents. Grass sites are close together and are not Class A friendly. We will not be back!
