We had a campsite with a 360 degree view of the salt marsh and had beautiful sunsets every night. The majority of sites are heavily covered with trees which provides needed shade in the summer months. We stay here regularly due to access of miles of wide, mostly uninhabited beaches. We are surf fisherman and the fishing is very good here. The park amenities are good. Bathrooms clean but not air conditioned. Shopping and dining out is found in Fernandina Beach. We are surf fisherman and the fishing is very good here. The park amenities are good. Bathrooms clean but not air conditioned. Shopping and dining out is found in Fernandina Beach. In rainy periods there are mosquitos and no seeups but they are easily manageable. As a major plus, there is a new paved bike path that goes from the park all the way to Amelia Island. Little Talbot is a big park so you can bike also inside the park for a good distance.
