This campground is not Big Rig Friendly. I wish places like this would say that they can't fit our 45' MH instead of taking our reservation. If you have to have a car moved just so you can back into your spot - that isn't Big Rig friendly. If you have to do a two point turn inside the park on your way out (to miss 2 huge trees). That isn't Big Rig friendly. Just very frustrating to almost do damage to our rig because they don't advertise correctly. Again - just don't take our reservation if... Read More

Hi Jbadventures, Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important points. Our campground is indeed Big Rig friendly, and we routinely accommodate RVs up to 45 feet and larger. That said, during peak season when we are at or near full occupancy, the number of extra-large sites can become limited. We always work hard to assign sites that best match the size of each rig, but... Read More
Hi Jbadventures,
Thank you for your feedback.
We always work hard to assign sites that best match the size of each rig, but when all oversized sites are occupied, maneuvering can understandably require more care — especially for the largest motorhomes.
In situations like yours, we’re happy to assist with parking or, if needed, ask guests with smaller vehicles to move temporarily to make the process easier and safer for everyone. Our team does this out of courtesy and in an effort to accommodate all guests, even during busy times. Regarding the trees you mentioned, we strive to balance providing a beautiful, shaded environment while maintaining accessibility for larger rigs — and we are always evaluating options to improve.
We apologize for any frustration you experienced and appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue refining how we manage reservations and site assignments, especially during high-demand periods.
Safe travels wherever your adventures take you,
The Cape Kennedy Team
