This is more of a resort with park models. We have 40 ft class A, towing a vehicle and the roads are very narrow and only back in sites. Luckily when we arrived there were 3 neighbors that came out and assisted us getting backed into the site. And no dog park or area to walk your dog. You can't even walk past certain areas where they have signs stating no dogs beyond this sign. We did not use the clubhouse or bathroom/showers so I did not rate those areas. The park is attractive and very clean. Read More

If I could have given it zero stars I would have. Terrible small and close sites. The worst I've experienced. Only 2 bath houses each with a single toilet and shower in the same room. Lots of street noise. Narrow streets with many obstructions in the way of parking. No place for tow vehicle.
Except for the person at the reception office we found our stay at the park to be VERY uncomfortable. Very tight spots to back into. The hookups were on the passenger site of the RV. I had to move back and forth a number of times just to make the power cable reach the outlet at the post. There are no picnic tables. There is no free cable TV, you hve to have someone come in to hook you up. In addition, there is a train track right behind the lots which make your RV shake when numerous freight trains... Read More

In addition, there is a train track right behind the lots which make your RV shake when numerous freight trains come by at night! Even hough they advertise to be dog-friendly, there is no real way to walk your dog., not to speak about a bark park or something like that. No dog poop bags nor buckets to drop in the bag! There are a lot of mobil home seasonal folks there and they seem to be typical 'inbreds' and not friendly to short term folks at all! They yell at you if you attempt to cross over the 'no dogs' line on the street! The laundry facility is a 'micro' version - no basket to move ones wet laundry to the dryer. We stayed there (Ja-Mar North) for a week and were happy to get out! Never again. We stayed there in a 35ft motor home.

First... this is a longer term stay park with many full season campers and probably 1/2 the spaces with park model homes. Writing in February...the park is chock full so reservations well in advance are a must. Sites are packed closely but are all full hookup and you can wash the RV in the site...free permit from office. LOTS of stuff going on for visitors every day of the week...bingo, bocce, pikleball, ping pong, music, bridge, poker, meals & entertainments etc. makes it fun for all. Pool is very... Read More

Pool is very nice and 82 degrees. Showers & bathroom serve pool/clubhouse area as well as the few campers who don't use their coaches..new & spotless but limited. Laundry is fine. clubhouse can hold 100+ with ease. Everything you could want store wise is within a mile of the entrance and beaches are a few miles away. Site has concrete patio, grass/sand pad for coach and blacktop area in front for car. Downside is no cable and NO internet at site (clubhouse only). Upside ...for 1 month or more stays, is that you can arrange to get both cable and private internet to be installed on your arrival day. You also will have an actual address & mailbox on your site if you need mail forwarded.
Excellent choice for long term stay.

The Pool is VERY NICE. The Club House is attractive. The showers in the Club House, the only ones available, other than in your unit, looked nice, however there were only two showers in the women's restroom for the entire park. The showers had a step down to the floor of the shower, not for use for anyone w/ a mobility impairment. Park seems to be converting from a Campground to a Mobile Home Park. There were several new, nice looking, permanent units installed during our stay. The laundry room... Read More

The laundry room was pleasant, but not very large given the number of sites in the park. A number of folks have their own washer/dryer sets in their permanent units.
