When we arrived we were told the pool was closed because pump failed, and it was custom. I told young lady that pool pumps are not custom, they just did not want to repair before end of season. It was 90+ degrees outside, and we had wanted to swim and lounge around but could not. Roads were not graded, and bumpy to drive over. Several areas had erosion gullies. Went to take shower and water was only luke warm and pressure was low. Wife told me that in conveniance bldg. ladies room had only one of... Read More

We also had a golf cart travel through our site twice. The AC in camper was short cycling which usually is caused by low voltage at supply.

We stayed at Yonah Mountain Campground the end of October to November. We actually were able to participate in the Halloween festival they put on. The kids had so much FUN!! We were on the hayride, playing games, and roasting marshmallows! Not only did they feed us free hot-dogs, chips, drinks, and desserts- all the activities were free! The friendly staff helped navigate Helen beautifully. The road traffic is always bad that time of year with Oktoberfest going on, but the front office staff was... Read More

When we were there- you could tell they had a love for the campground, and the community- they told us about all the neat towns not too far from the park. Only a short distance, and we were able to go visit the highest peek in Georgia, Brasstown Bald. Thank you Yonah Mountain Campground, we appreciate you and will be back to stay!

Lovely campground. Lots of trees and shade. Some sites might be challenging to get into, but we had no problem. I loved it that the host put me in a cart, and we drove around and previewed all the available sites. Great staff, very personable. Very good spacing between sites. Very short distance to a craft brewery (Tantrum Brewing), wine tasting places, easy drive to both Helen and Cleveland.
Nice place. Some spaces are a bit tight to get into and the roads a bit 'rough' (gravel, hilly terrain) but what it lacks there it makes up for in a nice, safe family atmosphere. A little pricey - but close to Helen. Bathrooms - A bit dated, but clean and functional. Our site was private enough - but others aren't so much. Note: Not that this is a facilities issue (nor did it play into our rating), but in this part of GA TV reception is difficult at best (for that matter so was a decent cell signal)... Read More

Escorted to site; staff friendly; majority sites were back in. Gravel roads & sites. Few sites were grassy. Large fields to walk pets. Close to towns & shopping. Clean camp ground. Rv sites were small. Large fields for play ground.
When first arriving, the lady we first dealt with didn't seem too happy to be there. As we continued out our stay she seemed to lighten up a little and everyone else was very pleasant. It says that they have cable and Wi-Fi, but they don't tell you that it is only located in ONE building on the whole campground. The roads are pretty rough and need some attention. The bathrooms had a foul odor. Their prices on things in the office are a little too high. Other than these few issues this was a pretty... Read More

The campsites were pretty spacious, which was very nice, and the park was very quiet.
