This is a nice place for an overnight stay and we requested one of the few pull through spaces. This is right off the highway, the bathrooms were real nice, but only one men's and woman's facilities, this is fine if you don't mind waiting and No laundry or cable hook up. Nice grass for our dog, and even with the highway adjacent to the park it was quiet. We only stayed one night.
This is a very nice campground. It has five very long pull-through sites and twelve long back-in sites. The sites have water and electric and most have a picnic table. There is ample grass area between each site. It is unique in that the access road to the sites also appears to be a street used by the locals. They do drive very slowly and the dirt street is watered several times a day to keep down the dust. Across this dirt road is a field with many sheep. U.S. Hwy 20 is on the other side... Read More

U.S. Hwy 20 is on the other side of the campground, but there is a berm that does a good job of blocking road noise. The only negative we would mention is that the park seems to have an identity crisis. In this directory it is named Picabo RV Park. In the "RV Idaho Official Campground Directory" it is named Picabo Angler RV Park. And the sign at the entrance for the park calls it Silver Creek RV Park, with a small sign above showing Angler. Along with this is the fact that nowhere is it stated that one must go to the Texaco station/convenience store across Hwy 20 to register. In fact, we weren't told that when we called to make our reservation. Last, the phone number listed in this directory isn't answered during business hours, but instead gives you the phone number of the convenience store. RV Idaho got the phone number correct. We stayed here to go to Crater of the Moon National Monument and are quite pleased we found this park.

Loved this little park. Huge grassy spaces surrounded by farming areas. Quaint town with a gas station, good restaurant and an Ace hardware and that's about it. Out of 14 parks we stayed during this trip, this was one of our favorites
