We stayed for a few days on our way through the area in a FHU site (#29). The site was just long enough to back in our 40 ft 5th wheel, but not to park our truck. Sewer hook-up at the back of the site, so I needed two 10 ft hoses to reach. Wifi was slow but generally available. Office only open 9am - 3pm, so when we arrived about 3:30, we just picked a site and checked in the next morning. The pool was closed for the season but looked clean and well-kept. The grounds and campsites seemed clean, but muddy from recent heavy rains. Good location close to all the attractions of historic Galena. We would return if in the area again.

This was a nice, peaceful campground. There was plenty of space to walk the dogs. The sites seemed to be spaced a little too close together though. It took a good minute to get hot water to the shower, but otherwise the bathrooms were in decent shape. Could use more hooks in the showers. There's also no cable TV hookup, just local channels thru your antenna.
