This is redneck central, not worth the money, don't stay here. My daughter almost got hit by a golf cart driven by a teenager. We were across from the pool and basketball courts it was very loud with people and their boom boxes. Golf cart traffic kept me up at night and we usually don't hear anything over our AC unit, but at this campground we did. The place was very dirty and run down. The slide was only opened on the weekend and the person in charge of the slide was too busy trying to figure out... Read More
This is redneck central, not worth the money, don't stay here. My daughter almost got hit by a golf cart driven by a teenager. We were across from the pool and basketball courts it was very loud with people and their boom boxes. Golf cart traffic kept me up at night and we usually don't hear anything over our AC unit, but at this campground we did. The place was very dirty and run down. The slide was only opened on the weekend and the person in charge of the slide was too busy trying to figure out taxes taken out of his paycheck to pay attention to the kids on the slide. The water in the slide was green. Fish bit me at the lake. The bathrooms flooded with 1 shower going and the water was cold. The place is very out-dated and a kid almost drowned at the pool. There was a huge gap between the deck and fencing of the pool. The other pool was green. Our site was dirty and we had to move trash out of our lot to pull in. The grass needed mowed on our lot. The only nice thing I can say is I visited with an old friend here and the picnic table was brand new. My children didn't even like it. Not worth the money and very poor quality. We missed weekend activities because we were told they were done for the day when they weren't. Staff comminication was very poor.
