The staff are very helpful and friendly. The CG is essentially two sections. One area by the office, pool, restrooms, etc. The other section is larger, more open, larger sites. We have a 37ft Class A with Toad and would stress staying in the second section away from the pool area. The sites are long and gravel. Area around your site is grassy. Not all gravel sites appear level and the roads need repaving. When it rains hard areas become ponds. There's an above average dog park. Speaking of our furry... Read More

Speaking of our furry friends the CG does, unfortunately, allows aggressive breeds....Doberman, Pits & German Shepards. If you're visiting I-apolis, this is about the best CG in the area. But here's the rub....for "Premium" site....$91 weekday and $106 weekend, please, way overpriced!

From the very start this was an excellent stay. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful from reservations to check in. We were then escorted directly to our site and they even came by 15 minutes later to ensure everything worked well. The space was plenty long enough for our 40" Class A and a 16" trailer. The only negative was the area around the utility connections was a little mushy. But there had been a lot of rain and I am sure a couple of days of sunshine would clear that up.
Stayed in a Deluxe site ($80.00) for a over night. What a overpriced lot, roads are gravel and not graded, site is gravel and uneven. Sewer hookups are uphill from your site which means you have to milk your hose to drain it. This is my last time at this overpriced outdated dusty park.
Really nice place with SUPER friendly people. Pull through are nicely laid out and plenty of them. A little bit of highway noise but nothing that would wake you even if you are a light sleeper like I am. We only stayed the night as we were passing through but it would be a good place to use as a base for travel to local attractions. We didn't use the restrooms so that is why there is no rating for them.
Indiana has one of the largest RV industries in the nation. It is fitting, therefore, that Indianapolis should have one of the best KOAs in the nation. It's not a perfect 10, mind you. It has its problems. For one thing, the office is rather challenging to get to. You have to follow a long winding road, and then pull your rig between two buildings. That done, however, the large sites are easy to get into. Moreover, they've instituted a practice that I'd like to see more frequently: They alternate... Read More

That done, however, the large sites are easy to get into. Moreover, they've instituted a practice that I'd like to see more frequently: They alternate the entry direction from site to site. So if I enter my site heading west, my neighbors on both sides will enter heading east. Why do I like this complicated practice? Because when I open my door to get out of my RV, or simply to enjoy the scenery, I'm looking at my neighbor's front door, not at his sewer hookup. I suspect that it also increases the social interaction between neighbors, but I have had enough experience with the practice to be sure.
The campground as a whole is huge and well shaded, with a creek running down the middle. There are ample play areas for the kids, and lots of space for walking. The freeway is nearby, but the noise is not intrusive.

Nice campground with park-like setting. Lots of shade trees. We stayed in one of the Deluxe sites - very long, level gravel site with nice cement patio. The site was long enough that we could have kept our toad hooked up at the site - we travel in a 40 ft motorhome towing a full size pickup truck. A firepit and picnic table were also included. And there is lots of room between you and your neighbor. There is some traffic noise when outside but not so much that it ruins your ability to enjoy... Read More

There is some traffic noise when outside but not so much that it ruins your ability to enjoy being outside - and we were located on one of the closest spots to the highway. It is a little tight getting in to register - you're better off to follow the signs to the main entrance instead of coming in the back entrance. The buildings are well maintained and the staff could not have been nicer! Quick escort to your site. And I noticed this occurred even for the late, after dark arrivals. And they have pizza delivery to your site! We did not utilize the restrooms so I cannot comment. The dog park is huge! The interior roads are gravel and I do think dust could be an issue if it hadn't have just rained prior to our arrival. The grass surrounding our site was a little longer than I would have liked but again, with recent rain, they may have gotten behind on mowing. Very convenient to the Interstate. Would definitely recommend and we do plan to return.

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Staff was the Great! The Rv sites are beautiful with good space between them. There is a creek that runs through the middle of the property which gives this park a nice outdoor feeling. Big dog park. Sites were gravel and level. Great wifi for a rv park! If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax. go here. We enjoyed our stay, and would go back.
This campground is not big rig friendly. Best to un-hook before you enter and take your tow to the office to check in which is quite a ways from the entrance and lower area pull thru sites. There are single lane roads and tight, I got caught up in traffic in front and behind us. No place to pull off the road. Sites are long, but have 2 big posts at the front left. Pay attn. as you exit site.
This was our second RV park, ever. We couldn't be happier. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were top notch with the best splash pad/pool combo out side of a water park we have used. There was an ample amount of space between the sites that we didn't feel on top of our neighbors. We are already planning a return trip this summer. We had a deluxe pull through spot with full hookup. The patio and fire pit were well maintained and spaced out thoughtfully.
worst koa we have ever stayed at. Granted they had lots of rain, but still, they had us camping in a mud pit. The dump station was also sub standard. I gave the restrooms a good rating, but in all honesty, they needed to be cleaned more frequently too. Not many stalls for the number of campers.
Three night stay. Not near a nine or ten rating. Five or six. Gravel roads were full of potholes. Hard to find a spot to put levelers down not in mud. Grass was over grown. Overpriced ($70) for the value. we have stayed at much better parks for half the money. Too bad they don't have more competition to keep them honest.
We had a blast at this place! They have extra large gravel RV sites that include a concrete pad with picnic table and fire pit. It looks like they'll have a waterpark-like pool opening soon. Lots to do outdoors and in: rent a bike, playgrounds, swimming, air hockey, ping pong, piano, TV. The dog park is actually big enough to play with your dog. Very appealing grounds. The staff treated us like family. We would definitely stay here again.
Fulltime in the RV and spend 1 month in the spring and 1 month in the fall to visit family and friends....5th time total at this park and very last time. Reserved a particular spot 7 months in advance only to find we have been moved to the front space which is very small for our unit. On arrival there is no assistance into your spot and young lady couldn't tell us how to enter the spot we had been assigned. We stayed 5 nights. Decided to stay here because of close proximity to I-70 to be able to visit family in Indianapolis. Access is easy from I-70 to Mt. Comfort Rd. The side entrance road is shared with the RV Dealer at the same exit. Roads are gravel and need some of the potholes filled in. Speed limit is 5.5 MPH, but you wouldn't want to go faster, anyway. We arrived around 6:30 PM on a Wednesday and even though the office was closed, they had all the site assignments on a nice dry alcove bulletin board. (Just went and paid balance the next morning). It was a record for rainfall for Indiana for the first 3 days we were here. Not the campground's fault, but parts of the CG were flooded from the creek that runs through it. The main entrance road was under a few inches of water. We mostly used the side entrance and went a cross the bridge. Though the creek level was up to the bridge, it never went over the bridge. Lady in the office said that the creek had not ever gone over the bridge in the last 12 years. She also said that concrete trucks and dump trucks full of gravel had been coming in using that bridge, so it was solid.
Our site was gravel and perfectly level. A Pull-through with plenty of room for our 25 ft. class C & toad (another 19 ft.). We could park the toad on either end. New concrete patio, newer picnic table and fire ring. Wi-Fi is free with a good strong signal (no streaming allowed). Only negative, the water pressure was only about 40 PSI.
Couldn't use the dog park due to the creek flooding, but the rain stopped Friday and by late Sat. afternoon it was mostly dried out.
The CG store is pretty well stocked with RV supplies, and there is a RV dealer with a well-equipped store and service facility adjacent to the CG.
The pool is being rebuilt as a "water park" feature.
Rate is with 10% KOA discount.
We would stay here, again.

Very convenient and close to Indianapolis downtown and other attractions in our case the speedway. We enjoyed a very spacious site in a wooded area. We will stay here again should we journey that way.
Owners were very rude. Workers were way over used. Not at all amicable to a big rig in getting in and out. Wish there was shade and grass instead of weeds. For this price this place should be pristine. Way too expensive compared to other places.
clover, there was very little grass, was rather high. sites are odd..you face the occupant next to you and share a plot of clover..okay if you know them but most of the time that would not be the case..never saw anything like that.
This is definitely the cleanest, friendliest and best of all of the KOA campgrounds that we have stayed in. We have an 85 lb German Shepherd and the "dog park" is definitely a big plus. The staff is excellent
We spent a few night en route to our final destination. It was the end of the season so the park was only 1/2 full. There are two entrances to the park, The back entrance is the easiest for us big rigs. The staff met us and escorted us to our site, and then we went and registered. We did have a little problem when leaving navigating the exit, but this is not something a normal sized RV would experience. When we visit the area again we will definitely consider this park.
