Brought our camping group there (about 8 class A campers) Disappointed with check in. No one at the desk at the hotel across the street, just a bell to ring. Waited about 10 minutes until someone arrived to check us in. The code for the gate wasn't working. It is on a very low stand so you have to exit your RV to enter the code. No one is on site to address concerns, you have to walk to the hotel and wait for someone to arrive. It is a new and clean park, but sites are tight. It wasn't planned... Read More

Would love to return but the check in was too much of a pain. Our group didn't care for the staff and check in process. No fire pits on your site. There is a small community fire pit. I imagine the casino management does not want you to be at your site but in the casino gambling.

So...checkin is a pain. Have to go to main hotel and wait in line...and that if you want to walk the 1/2 mile there...or wait for a shuttle. Then...wait....pay and listen to lots of talk. They sent us away with nothing more than a receipt...so once back to the coach...no way to open locked gate or even know where out site was. Enlisted some help of campers 'over the fence' for gate code and a map. Everyone is on there own here...no on site management....which is fine if everyone behaves themselves. We... Read More

We camped here to be able to use the ferry to get across the river....but both times we needed it, it was either broken or fogged in. That was a bust. Sorry we didn't stay elsewhere .

The RV park sites are great with concrete drive and good electric, water, sewer hookups. That is where the "Good" part of the experience stops. When you arrive there is signage saying where to park near the RV park entrance gate and directions to check in at the desk in the lodge. When you walk all the way through the lodge to the check in desk no one is there and there is a sign telling you to check in at the casino without anything telling you which building is the casino. When you walk all the way through the lodge to the check in desk no one is there and there is a sign telling you to check in at the casino without anything telling you which building is the casino. I waked several hundred yards to the casino and checked in with a fairly rude employee. I was told a shuttle would take me back to the RV park. I got 15 feet away from the shuttle and it took off. I went back inside to talk to a concierge but the concierge desk was empty. I walked to two other desks that looked like there may be some help but no one was at any of them. I finally walked about three hundred yards to the RV park.
This casino looks like it is in real trouble. We were there on a Tuesday during the afternoon and evening and there were less than a hundred cars in the lot and there seemed to be a lack of employees to be of service to you. There were several restaurants near the front of the building but the were all closed.

By far one of our favorite campgrounds. Great rates, easy walk to casino, shopping and restaurants. Free breakfast and pool use at the hotel. Rated a 4 for no fire pits allowed. Can have gas grills.
We had a great time at this RV park. It was smaller than most but that is what made it so nice & quiet to us, really good internet connection to work from, trash was picked up from your curb every day, clean & well maintained. The park is fenced in & then another fenced-in area for dogs which was really nice. There are no grills/fire pits allowed at each individual sites but there were available grills to use in the common area, which we made use of it. Very close to town & the casino/resturants... The only inconvinence we had was upon check-in at The Lodge, there was no one at the desk so one of us had to go the main hotel/casino to get checked in.

This was our first visit to this campground and actually was our second choice - our first choice was full. But I am so glad we ended up here!! The sites are concrete, level and of adequate size. Our site was a pull- thru - most are back-in. The pull-thru sites have no grass but there is plenty of grass around for pets and the dog park is huge!! The rest rooms are the nicest that I've seen - 7 individual rooms, each with a shower, commode, and vanity area with an outlet and large mirror.... Read More

The laundry room was very nice as well - 3 washers, 3 dryers plus a utility sink. There also is a nice size pavilion with picnic tables, ceiling fans, and near by grill. The Wifi and cable service was excellent. It is a secured campground - must have a code for access. The casino is across the street and could be accessed by walking if you wanted the exercise but there also is a shuttle available. We had a vehicle so just drove over. There are so many small river towns just a short drive away in either direction on The Ohio River Scenic Byway. And 2 other casinos as well! This campground is definitely on our list for a return visit!

We booked this campground on a whim - looking for a last minute weekend getaway. We enjoy casinos and thought this might we a good choice. We had never been to the casino or campground before. What a pleasant surprise for a weekend stay. The first impression is CLEAN!! The bathrooms were perfect. I also liked the fact that the RV pads were concrete. This is nice in the event of rain. The picnic table was great. We used the community grills. In time, the trees will grow and provide additional shade. That is the only current drawback but I know it is new and they will grow in time. We enjoyed time at the casino and were close enough to walk into the little town. We have been RV Class A campers for three years and having stayed at other casinos before, this was a perfect weekend and we plan to come back later in the summer.

This was a brand new park when we stayed there for a full week. The website indicates the park is open year round but it was closed throughout the 2017/18 winter. Nice level flat concrete campsites. Great bathrooms, showers, and laundry. very nice dog park, electronic gates that were not working or in use. The layout of this park is weird. The traffic patterns are backward. They need signs and arrows to route traffic to the campsites since no escort is provided. The five pull thru sites are... Read More

Great bathrooms, showers, and laundry. very nice dog park, electronic gates that were not working or in use. The layout of this park is weird. The traffic patterns are backward. They need signs and arrows to route traffic to the campsites since no escort is provided. The five pull thru sites are probably for rigs of less than 30'. My 40' Class A did not fit so I had to drop the toad. If I had a trailer or dolly it would never have worked. Staff not trained on facility. Pull thru's are too narrow to maneuver a big rig. Had to drive thru loose gravel to straighten rig and when it rained, which it did often it was a mess. It was raining hard, guy next to me followed the angle of the streets, pulled in the wrong way, and had to leave and come back. Still couldn't get it on the pad, he fell into a deep puddle in the loose gravel. Was not happy and complained to management. This park has a lot of potential but needs an expert to redesign it. This layout does not work.
Beautiful rural community, very scenic. Please fix this park!
