I made a reservation online on Dec 8th 2021 for a stay starting in July 2022. I expected the Good Sam's member rate of $31.50 per night as shown on KelloggRV.com website. At check-in, I signed the receipt trusting that the price at the time of the reservation was what I was charged. But as I was walking back to my vehicle, I read the receipt and saw I was charged $50 per night. I went back in to get the mistake corrected but the owner refused to refund the overcharge. He said that it was a special event and therefore priced at a higher rate.
The campground is very nice. It's well kept. The rest room was clean. The sites are a bit narrow but adequate to accommodate slides on both sides. The location is very convenient off Interstate 80.

Nice park, convenient to the interstate. Great food and staff in the Burger Cafe! The pull thru spaces were more than adequate for our 40' Class A (four slides)and trailer. All of the utilities worked very well and were well maintained. The entrance is a little tight but even a novice driver like me made it in safely.
We did not receive our Good Sam discount because it was a race weekend. I thought Good Sam did not allow any blackouts. Our spot was in the full sun and did not even have a picnic table. The website showed trees. We had to check in at the gas station/cafe and had to wait for customers who came in after us to pay first. The parking lot was very crowded and not rv friendly.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way home to Virginia. This is a great location just off the interstate, I-80. Traffic noise outside of the trailer is pretty loud but inside with the A/C going is barely noticeable. Our site was a pull-thru which was great but the water/sewer (4") and electric were together so far forward in the site that after disconnecting we put the truck behind the trailer. Site 23 though is a great site as it is at the end of the line and we had twice the yard area and... Read More

Site 23 though is a great site as it is at the end of the line and we had twice the yard area and a great view, corn field and interstate but unobstructed! We had dinner in Iowa's Best Burger Cafe and it was a really good burger with fries and a drink for a very reasonable price. They also serve scoop ice cream, cone or cup with a choice of several flavors. This place was a local's favorite. We used our trailer facilities and never visited the rest room or laundry. The park is well maintained and clean. Our Verizon cell service was 4G here and the sites WiFi was excellent.

Stopped for a one night stay and found the park perfect for our needs. The grounds are well maintained and it was convenient to have the cafe available for a burger or ice cream. The back row of pull-through sites are well shaded. It is close to I80 so expect some road noise but otherwise a nice place for an overnight. Didn't use the bathrooms or showers so can't give a rating on that.
We just stopped in to this campground for an overnight stay on a long trip, wish we could stay longer as the campsite was so appealing with its homey personality.
Campground Manager changed our site# upon checking in. The original site they scheduled us was bigger and wider. Not sure why they changed the site# - the campground was not full. We were put in a small site and the Water, Electric, & Sewer hookups were located in the middle of the site so it was difficult to maneuver. Sites were so narrow that our slide and open canopy just fit between our neighbors. We were very glad that we stayed one nite and continued on our journey the next day. The bathrooms... Read More

The bathrooms looked great and newly renovated. It is nice that they request $5 deposit for reservations, but you must pay for your stay in full at check in and they will refund your $5 deposit. Make sure you follow up with your credit card company that the refund is processed. I waited 30 days for the refund and had to email the campground requesting my refund. I received my refund in 2 days.

Stayed one night in a 45ft MH with tow vehicle. Did not use rest rooms. Pull through site which was just fine. Very easy on/off I80. Clean, neat and staff were VERY nice and friendly. Nice grass areas to walk dogs. Convenient to get gas in the am. They claim to have the best burger in IA. Not sure about that but at least I didn't have to cook! For $28, this was a bargain and would defiantly stay again! NOTE: check in at the gas station. There are signs but a previous review on RVParky... Read More

Restrooms...keycode is required. We weren't provided one. When I called the office I was told "There are no restrooms for the campground right now". WHAT??????? Totally unacceptable!!
NIce little campground. Our site seemed to be about 20 feet wide instead of 27. I was able to get my 35 ft. 5th wheel in and out without any trouble. The restroom had water standing in the floor because they had no way to keep it in the shower stall. There are no hooks to hang cloths or towels. In spite of that I still had a good shower. The laundery room was dirty. I would stay there again.
We have stayed here for a few years when we come and go to our summer jobs at Yellowstone. The park is always clean. The electrical and water have always been solid. The cafe is great for a "we have been driving all day and don't want to cook" meal. We have never had any delays checking in. We can't comment on the restrooms. We travel in a motor home and it has a restroom and shower facilities... Road noise was there but not bad with closed windows. It is one of the rare RV parks along the interstate... Read More

Road noise was there but not bad with closed windows. It is one of the rare RV parks along the interstate that doesn't have a nearby railroad. Verizon had a solid signal for wifi. We didn't try to use the campground system. Pull through sites are mostly level and plenty long.
This campground is great for the price to use as an overnight layover. We will be back.

Nice convenient roadside RV camp ground. However restrooms were uncleaned at the time of our visit at the end of September, soap, paper towels, leaves on the foor, full wastebasket, etc. Showers were spartan, not convenient, lacked benches and hooks to hang clothes. , just one plastic stool for two showers. Just one shelf too high for convenient reach. With a little attention to the restroom and shower facility this could be a nice overnight stop.
Hard to check in. Other help in office yet 1 person doing everything. So even tho 1st in line after traveling all day. Wifi never works on campground, it should for the price you pay.
Very nice campground, next to Soy bean field, and busy highway. Gas station, restaurant on premises. Escorted to camp site by man on bicycle. Shaded camping area.
We stayed for a week visiting family. This is an overnight stay park, cleared out every morning. Campground was clean and well cared for even though it was the end of the season. Laundry had good machines. Close to I-80 so ear plugs are needed if you sleep with the windows open. Pet friendly, lots of space for game of ball.
